Phoenix X 605

Location of facility in regards to the beach and eating places was great. Location of our unit was extremely a long walk from the parking garage to the room. Room sz was adequate for 2 people but unit was unbelievable out dated and in poor shape cosmetically. Baseboards in bathrooms were filthy/dirty, patched sheetrock, rust visibly on refrigerator door & dishwasher. Bed was comfortable but pillows on bed were pathetic. A sheet only cover on bed with very sad bedspread. The unit didn’t appear to be dirty but just run down. Very worn out cheap table & chairs on the patio. Not at all what as I expected for the price and highrise on the beach. Would not stay again or recommend unless it was really cheap price!!

Phoenix X is a great location, right next to FloraBama. This particular condo needed some work and updates. We had to keep the air set below 70, because there was an awful mold/mildew type smell that was VERY STRONG. Both bathrooms had an odor many times that smelled like a sewage issue.

There were only 2 tiny pillows on the king size bed and very cheap sheets. The couch in the living room sinks in the middle and not very comfortable to sit on. It also felt sticky/humid. The clean towels provided had long black hairs stuck to many of them and didn't feel clean. The walls have been touched up in places and need to be painted.

It just feels overall not very well taken care of. We will probably not stay in this particular condo again, even though we do like the location.

Location was great. The dishwasher needs replaced as it did not get the dishes cleaned. Also the fridge and dishwasher are rusted. There was mold and something stinky in the master bathroom, not just people stuff.
The return air vent is dirty and dusty along with the ceiling area and in the bathroom as well.

Excellent location to FloraBama activities. Our particular unit clearly reflected its old construction. Many of the appliances had rust spots, mirrors were losing their luster, and towel bar in the half bath was completely broken off, with exposed sheetrock and holes in the wall. Everything in the unit and in the kitchen function as intended, though the kitchen was extremely bare-bones. There were no pantry items, spices for your use, extra garbage bags, or anything else.

Love the area. Room is older but nice enough. I was not satisfied at all with the cleanliness of it. The dressers and night stands had dried fluids and markings from previous guests. The shower curtain was full of black colored mold and mildew spots. I only minimized showers during my stay because I was scared to touch the curtain. Everything else was fine, but cleanliness of bathrooms is a must have for me.

Great location. Great view. Very nice layout for (1) bedroom condo. Property description was accurate. Could have used more dining plates and silver ware.

It was a nice unit. Dishwasher had lots of rust on the outside and did not clean dishes, needs replaced. Master bed was very comfortable but pull out couch was AWFUL, and needs replaced. Beach chairs were very rusted and broken, unusable, they need to be thrown away. This unit is nice and we really enjoyed our time there. The view is out of this world! Other than a few updates needs, it is a great place and would definitely come back!

It was musty smelling the whole 2 weeks the owner turned off air conditioning between rental have to wash all my clothes they now that I’m home smell musty towel bar in 1/2 bath was missing the dishwasher and refrigerator had rust on doors would have been nice to know dishwasher didn’t take pods washed dishes by hand silverware was a place setting for 4 was always washing them hardly any glasses Teflon pan was so scratched up should be tossed Bed so lumpy garbage disposal sounds like it’s ready to die there is a bucket under it the waste basket in kitchen was so filthy we didn’t want to reach in to get another bag used the ones we brought screen door was ripped large hole needs to be replaced half the light bulbs didn’t work looks are deceiving should have read reviews before I rented 605 love staying at Phoenix X but will not use VBRO Will now look at Brent Robertson

Beautiful weather and convenient location. Bathroom and kitchen very dated and smelled damp!

The beach was fabulous. It’s just a short distance from the condo to the beach. Parking on the floor your unit is on is a great plus. The pictures don’t reveal the true condition of the unit. The bed is horrible one side is completely broken down. The sofa is broken down and very uncomfortable. The bathrooms are outdated. There are several plastered areas on the walls. The washing machine sounds like it’s taking off when you use it. Didn’t even try to use dishwasher it had something all over the inside so hand washed the dishes. This unit is in much need of some TLC.

It was great. I just couldn’t get out on the balcony with my wheelchair because of the high step over at the door. I love going out onto the balcony so it would’ve been nice if there was no step over and just flat so I could’ve just rolled out there.

The master bedroom has a very comfortable king bed and there's a new queen size air mattress for guests. Everything worked great. The pools are both big and clean

Clean, easy access to beach. Loved the amount of space in the condo.

Condo has not been maintained well. The condo stinks so bad that all my clothes had to be rewashed. I sprayed lysol and it still did not help the musty smell. Tub does not drain. Took a shower with water up to my knees. Hall bath smells like urine. Master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. Condo needs painting and 20 year old fixtures replaced. Blender in kitchen was nasty on the outside. This has to be the worst condo in Phoenix X and the worst I have paid top dollar for in years! I would not recommend this condo to anyone! Location is the only thing it has going for it.

Reported these maintenance issues to the front desk. Round patio table inside unit due to fact it would not pass through the sliding glass patio doors and that was a nuisance. Unit could use a new broom!! Loved the location and the view. Staff very nice. Condo was undergoing maintenance but it did not bother us. Furniture comfortable.

Overall very satisfied.

It was fabulous. Myself and two high school friends of 50years made this trip. Making memories as one of my friends is dying of brain cancer. They gave her 6-12 months. But so far she is still with me 14 months later.

Location was great place was clean only problem was the bed was slanted slightly

Other than weather, very nice. First few days were not good but we ended up with a few nice days at the end.

Seal of refrigerator and freezer needs to be replaced.
Sofa bed: head of mattress sinks down, maintenance guy tried to adjust but couldn't figure it out.
Lamp in bedroom could use dusting.

Mattress with hump in the middle REALY bad with slope , most felt when lying right side* Tub doesn’t drain well filled a few inches while showering. *broken towel hanger, freezer door, and remotes where a mess some with non working batteries. Place needs TLC. BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT WAS NO POOL when the website still says 4/1 for pool. I could have picked another place so that needs to be managed on website. If I pay (Nonrefundable) for the outdoor pool i should have been told ahead what was paid for was not all available. Good thing we didn’t bring tennis racquets!

The rental is in a great location for beach, dining and activities. The bed in the room was broken. One side of the bed slanted sharply towards the edge. The rental also had a musty smell that could still be noticed in our luggage and clothes when we got home.

Super excited to stay here but upon arrival, very disappointed. Was informed that the pool was being worked on but not notified of anything else. Balcony floor had recently been worked on but windows were filthy, you couldn't even look out - ended up cleaning ourselves. Floor was very dirty - vacuumed ourselves. Mold on the ceiling in the bedroom & vents. Dust hanging from ceiling above bathroom sink. I hope they don't pay their cleaning people much.

We had a great stay. The unit was a little "tired" but was clean and comfortable overall. We had everything we needed. As always with a Phoenix X condo - the view was amazing and the location is unbeatable.

The location was great! The condo was dirty, and in need of a paint job. The toilets seats were so nasty, that we replaced them ourselves. The bedroom smelled like a dog had been living in it. The shower liner was moldy and the shower curtain was dirty.

The rental was very nice. We had a great time at Orange Beach!

1st unit reservation pulled and I was assigned a unit owned by Brett Robinson.
Told unit was being "redone" but should be ready, Charlie said he would call when work was done. Work must have been done in another unit. No call.
Bed slept good. We spend out time on the patio. The patio table was practically unusable. Top cracked and diplaced.
Shards falling out. Couldn't believe it.
Couch and master bath dirty. Unit would probably be acceptable to spring breakers but not what we expected.

very pretty property. loved the location, next to Florabama which was fun. for a 1 bedroom condo it was good to have a half bath. i would definitely stay there again!

Condo was awesome. The view was breathtaking. Patio door and screen needs some work. It was hard to open and close. Charlie was awesome to deal with and very accommodating to our requests.
