Phoenix X 416

We always chose a unit at Phoeinix X with a grea5 location to the BOTB event. This unit did not disappoint.

Kitchen draws were broken. Place was dirty with mold in bathroom and showers.

The pictures on the website are very misleading. The entire condo is in desperate need of updating. The drawers in the kitchen were falling apart, the shelf in the freezer is very rusty, the baseboards were all marked up and chucks of word were missing, there was no privacy in the bathrooms, the door knob to one of the bathrooms was too small for the hole, there was a musty feel to the condo.

2nd time staying in this condo. Loved being on parking level and only one condo away from the garage...very convenient. Condo itself was clean and fit our needs well. We had two adults and three kids. Great outdoor pool area. Look forward to coming again.

Pros: Great location. Great view and easy access to the beach.
Cons: This unit needs some work. The shelf in the freezer has a lot of rust on it. The toilet paper holder is missing the piece to actually hold the toilet paper. Floors hadn’t been swept. There are brown stains from water leaks that they tried to cover up with paper towels and a bowl under the kitchen sink. Knob missing on closet door in master bathroom. The 2nd shelf on the coffee table still trash from the last occupant and looked like it hadn’t been dusted in quite some time.
*rats were seen running around outside the area where the grills are downstairs and a snake...

The location of the condo is great -on the beach, close to Pensacola, next door to FloraBama. However, the condo itself is in desperate need of attention. The kitchen is very outdated (could use a new stove and dishwasher (looks like there is mold on the vent area)), the face of one of the drawers is coming off (looks like they tried to hot glue it back together and it broke even more), in the front bedroom the drawer pull on the dresser is broken, all of the baseboards show a lot of wear and tear, even though they may tell you that the kitchen is fully equipped it only comes with a packet of dishwasher detergent, so if you are here for longer than 2 days I would suggest to bring your own together with laundry detergent. The room was not very clean when we arrived. The shelf in the freezer part of the fridge is all rusty and very nasty looking. Bathroom door in the back bedroom needs to be replaced , the knob does not fit the door at all. Bathrooms are very small and need updating. The dryer does not dry very well. The outlet on the glass wall looks burnt is is coming off. This is just a few of the problems. There are too many to list in this post.

Condo was very nice and clean. We had a fantastic time. The knob in the master bathroom was broke and pushed in. The other bathroom was missing the toilet paper holder. And one half of the toaster sparked. I did email this to Charlie. But in all we had a fantastic time and we're very comfortable.

We loved staying here! It was so relaxing and clean. The view from the main room and balcony access from the master bedroom was especially great! We had the best time since we didn't have to drive anywhere! We parked, walked to all the FloraBama restaurants...perfect location!

Unit could use some work. TV remote in master bedroom didn't work, light bulbs in front bedroom burnt out, freezer rack rusted, bathroom door needed fixed. Minor things but inconvenient.

It was a wonderful time spent with the family. Great location and great property to stay at.

We love staying at Phoenix X. 416 was clean, the location was perfect.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the state of our room. Broken cabinets, leakage under the sink w mold, broken door handles in the master, and not reliable WiFi. Luckily we were out on the beach for most of the stay but still is nice to come back to a put together unit. Would not rent again but if you do not care for the things I mentioned go for it! We enjoy staying at Phoenix 10 every year, we will just get another unit next time.

The condo was very comfortable, great location,and had a great view. Did notice some maintenance work is desperately needed. Knob on the MB bathroom bi-fold door is pushed through. Two or more chairs at the dining table were missing rungs, possibly making them unsafe. The door to the balcony was extremely difficult to open. The shelves inside of the freezer were completely rusted. MB shower was missing a lot of grout. As I mentioned most are simple maintenance fixes.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed here primarily for the location. The unit was very clean. The only things needed in this unit are some updating of appliances and kitchen finishes. But overall it is a nice unit. We will stay again.

The rooms were clean and functional. The chairs in the dining room needed some attention. The sliding door to the balcony is tough to open and close. Very clean though.

Phoenix X is in a great location right beside Flora-Bama, which was where we wanted to go. The beach and pool was not crowded and everyone was very friendly. The room was right by the parking garage so that was nice. I love how they have grocery carts and luggage carts available. Charlie communicated well with how to check in/out and had good recommendations.
Overall the room was good. The couch was a little worn - would recommend to get a new one. The 2nd bedroom mattress was ok and the shower curtain needs replaced - had some dirtiness.
However, if you’re going for location like we were, it’s a good place to stay.

This was a great place right on the beach. Our only issue was the dirty floors. We had to mop the floors.

Guest bath had issues the first time we stayed as well as this time. Handle to toilet was broken and also shower wasn’t working as it should. The bedding looked dirty and had spots on comforter and also on sheets. The guest bedroom bed was extremely uncomfortable. The towels were so thin we thought about going to buy our own. There was hair in the shower drains in the main bathroom that had to be cleaned out before we could shower. There was cobwebs behind the picture on wall you could see when we went to bed. Kitchen floor seemed to not been fully cleaned. When I wiped up a spot on arrival the napkin was black. Just recommend you look at these things. We stayed for convenience of location but will look for other place next time. Have family that we had originally recommended the place to but will tell them so they know what they’re paying a VERY EXPENSIVE price per night for. The property grounds were VERY WELL KEPT but the unit itself disappointed this time.

After seeing mixed reviews, we decided to try rhis place. It fit perfectly for what we needed. We spent most of our time on the balcony watching the waves. The parking area was not far from this rental. This is close to Florabama but not much else. We rented chairs from Ikes.

The condo was everything that we expected. Beautiful view and quiet. Perfect next to the parking garage and the fourth floor was just right. Staff was friendly and weather was perfect. East access to the beach.

Overall great location, however, the condo needs a good cleaning!!! The floors had not been been swept and there was hair all in the bathroom. The extra blankets smelled like they have never been washed.

Close to the Flora Bama easy walking distance. Worked with Charlie Sanders on the rental, he was very helpful and professional.

Totally enjoyed this condo during the month of February.

We have been coming to the area for many years and have stayed at Phoenix X mostly however this was our first time in this unit. The unit was nice but needs some attention. For example, the lint trap in the dryer had not been cleaned in many uses, the dishwasher had mold in the vent and did not efficiently clean dishes. The floor had not been vacuumed/cleaned as there were crumbs under the table and spots on the tile from the door to kitchen sink. I vacuumed and mopped before we moved all our stuff in. I cleaned the dryer vent and area as best I could. We ended up hand washing our dishes. We still enjoyed our stay as we love the area but don’t know that I would stay in this unit again.

The unit was very nice and I would definitely rent it again. The only thing I can complain about the unit itself was that the windows/doors leading out to the balcony were “cleaned” with something that was not streak free and they looked really bad. Other than that the unit was perfect. I would also double check with Phoenix X to see if they are still doing work on the building before you go as we were not aware they were doing it. You could not be in the room without hearing what sounded like jack hammers the entire time. It was very frustrating.

The property could’ve been great but it had clearly not been cleaned in a very long time. There was black mold growing in the shower, fake eyelashes leftover from the previous guests, dirty dishes in the cabinets and trash rolling around under the bed. We came as a family and honestly did not feel comfortable having our 6 month old sleep here. Rather than calling the housekeeping crew that had supposedly already cleaned the unit, we ended up buying our own cleaning supplies and losing a day of our vacation to make it livable. The property’s owner reached out asking about our stay and when we informed him of the conditions he refunded our cleaning fee but it also took us sending another email in order to get that money back. Overall, would not recommend this property unless you like to clean while you’re on vacation.

Great location. Window coverings were great for keeping light out when closed- but easy to open to enjoy the beautiful beach views. Note: kiddie pool is no longer there. Also, quite a few restaurants do not do take out after 5pm.

Great beach vacation getaway! Condo was spacious with comfortable beds!

We loved the location, the view from our room was perfect. The parking was convenient. We communicated with the owner, he was pleasant, responsive, and helpful. We noticed after we all took our showers and then walked around the condo barefoot our feet were black/dirty so the floors need deep cleaned! And we had to clean the coffee maker before using. That was really disappointing. The cleanliness of the condo in general needs to be addressed. Also, extra towels, extra toilet paper, and facial tissue would be nice. We enjoyed our will be returning next year and are looking forward to enjoying the new outdoor patio/pool

Overall stay was a 4 out of 5 because when we checked into our room it wasnt very clean. Both bathrooms were still dirty and there hair in the sinks.
Other than the room not clean as it should have been, the location was perfect, the staff was amazing, and the balcony was big. It was a great a really stay and the beds are really comfortable. Also, access to the balcony from the master bedroom was very nice to have.

Unit was very clean, we loved working with Charlie. We came into town earlier and I gave him a call and he made accommodations for us to check in early! Loved staying here at Phoenix X, beach wasn’t too far and florabama was right next door! We are coming back!

We loved our time at the Pheonix X! It was very clean and Charolette was an awesome help with quick replies we even got to check in two hours early! We plan to be back!

Location close to parking lot which was big convenience. Nicely furnished. I did have an issue with cleanliness. Sand on carpet. Grainy dried up cleanser on counter tops. Dingy, stained and crusty towels. Coffee pot was dirty and had to be cleaned before using. I washed towels before using and wiped down counter tops. For the price paid I expect a spotless condo with sparkling white towels

Everything was perfect, it was clean, nicely decorated and soooo close to our vehicle which was awesome for loading and unloading! Corner balcony and Charlotte was the best person to work with!!

This unit is next to famous Flora Bama, offers great view of the beautiful beach, convenient to nice restaurants, shopping, etc. the unit was nicely furnished, clean, and supplied with ample cookware, etc. w gave already reserved this unit for a return visit.

Never had a single problem with the condo. It is beautifully updated and slept our large family comfortably. Phoenix 10 is very nice. This condo is great!
