very good, very clean. but pool was filly and no way to ever get on lazy river. children were not supervised on slide or pool

Our unit was spectacular! It was clean and well furnished with everything we needed for our stay. Traveling with friends and family, it was nice that each of our 4 bedrooms had its own bathroom. The layout and size of the condo was plentiful for our party of 8. The pools, lazy river and kid’s splash pad were nice and well maintained. The only inconvenience we experienced was during peak times the wait for one of the six elevators was extremely long (but I've experienced that at other resorts as well). This property accommodated our adult-only party well but I feel it would be especially accommodating for a family with kids because of the kids water areas. The location is convenient to restaurants and shops and we even walked to a great little ice cream shop across the street.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would highly recommend this to others.

First time our family has taken a family vacation in 26 years! It was wonderful and would highly recommend this location. Our grandkids loved the pools, beach ️ and hot tubs! What a memory!

This was an amazing place. The views were incredible. We were able to enjoy a side view of the beach and see the main road from the extended balcony. I would love to come back and stay. This is a great place to stay very clean and a lot of room to relax.

Everything about this room and hotel is great.
Spacious 4 bedroom unit with a 3,000 square foot private patio all to ourselves with great views of the ocean, city of orange beach, and gulf state park. We had this room booked in 2020 only to get canceled due to a hurricane. We swore we would get this room one day so we made it happen this year and we couldn’t have been more pleased with it! Would definitely recommend!

Everything about our stay was excellent

This place is incredible! We had plenty of room for our family of 11. And that patio ... WOW! Everything was above our expectations except the beds. The mattresses needed updating.

Be sure to read several of the reviews before booking. Although the grounds are very clean this place is very very crowded during peak season. The wait for the elevator can be horrific and up to 20 minutes as there is only 6 of them for over 350 units. God forbid a storm comes you will be 30 or more mins, we found a alternative and seldom had to wait at all, do your research and you can also. Pool opens at 9 better be there a bit before if you want seating, there is not near enough beach for the amount of people staying either. Parking garage is nice but you may have to wait on the street when you come and go to get through security. We had a plumbing problem that took 24 hrs to get taken care of if you decide the book definitely booked through Brent Robinson not Phoenix directly. We will be going back to our much smaller facility on our next trip down.

place was clean, floor was not swept, Beach was very small for all the people at property! Place was nice and we had a good time.

We have a very positive experience. We had 11 people in our group from all areas of the country from TX to GA. There was more than enough room for the whole crew. The unit was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials needed to cook every meal. The large patio was amazing. Julia with the rental company was very attentive and touched base several times to make sure everything was okay. We have stayed at many Phoenix properties; however, this was the first time we have experience such personal service. We had one very minor issue which was handled immediately. The only thing others should be aware of is that this is a VERY LARGE building (32 floors) so the elevator is an issue at check-in/check-out times.

it was a great experience, the condo was everything and more that it was advertised to be. Check in and check out were very easy, and the huge patio was awesome!

Roomy, clean, and enough space for all of us. The owner was easy to get in touch with, responded quickly, and was very helpful.

My family had a wonderful time relaxing at PWII! The balcony was truly private!!! The pics are REAL!!! :)

The property was a spacious 4 bedroom 4.5 bath, condo. The private balcony was definitely the perk of the stay and offered our family beautiful views of the ocean, especially at sunrise. This was our 4th year staying at the Phoenix West II and this condo was by far the most worn one that we have ever stayed in. It has scrapes on the walls, heavily worn decor, carpet with stains, and just in general needs some care. It appeared rather obvious that this condo was heavily used and that these things were just from a lot of use. We would consider staying again if the condo received some TLC and was cleaned up some but in its current state, we would NOT stay here again.

We had an amazing time! The private balcony is amazing. We highly recommend this for any family or group vacationing. It’s perfect for meals, games, relaxing, watching the ocean, or drinking and talking.

The only thing i would recommend to owners is maybe upgrading furniture in living room, it wasn’t real comfortable. The second thing is in the queen guest bedroom where the bathroom and bedroom meet the carpeting needs fixed, we kept stepping in it and it hurts when u step on the pointy part, looks like it’s just coming undone or wore down.

The second quest room with two queens was an amazing size it was like a second suite. The bunk room bottom bunk was actually huge and could fit two kids comfortably on bottom and one on top. The kind master was beautiful also. Especially the bathroom.

The wet bar has its own ice maker which is super nice.

I would recommend bringing your own pitcher (for tea or drinks) and also a mixer if needed. All the bathrooms did not have blow dryers so that too.

If your checking in on Saturday I recommend getting there at 2:30 and getting your parking passes then go ahead and unload your car, you can’t get in room until 4 but you can hang out in hallway and kids can get out and play. Once 3:30 hit the elevators are awful and your waiting at least an hour if you can grab carts at 2;40 and get up to your floor you will be glad you did trust me. We also left at 7am on Saturday to avoid the rush and it was perfect also. The only other time the elevators were busy was when it rained and everyone came in at once.
Just minor things but all in all i would highly recommend this place and this condo. Julia was amazing to work with and always available to get ahold of or contact us right back when needed.

pros: well maintained, managed, good facilities, pool, and lazy river.

cons: spcific to this condo - the patio is great, but when we rented it, we got bad sewer smell ... could not enjoy the patio as much.

not sure if its constant problem or we were unlucky.. but not worth taking the risk when you plan to use the patio for a large group/party/gettogether.

The condo was spacious enough for our family of 12. It was roomy enough our 8 grandchildren to spread out and enjoy personal space or interact together. The weather our week was cooler but the large inside heated pool was a big bonus. Phoenix II West was a beautiful complex with many more amenities that would have been fun to experience were it not for the weather. Wonderful week had by all in our family.

We travel with 3 families and these place was great to accommodate all of us comfortable. The patio outside has a view to the beach and the gulf. The balcony has a view to the street with a beautiful view of the sunset. The patio has a beautiful view of the sunset and lots of space for the kids to play and for adults to hangout. We will definitely look in renting this again! The manager Julia was so helpful and answered all my questions quickly.

The condo was really big and set up nicely. The 3000 sqft balcony was perfect for hanging out with friends and enjoying the awesome view.

We had a great vacation at this condo. Very spacious and the huge private balcony is a huge plus.

The patio furniture was broken on one patio, furniture on the large patio was rusty & couldn't sit on it unless you put towels down.
The drawers in the refrigerator were broken, the tubs & showers were moldy.
