First and most importantly, the condo was clean when we arrived. The view from the 25th floor was amazing. We did not have any issues waiting for the elevators. Check-in/out procedures were easy and convenient - almost fully automated via text/email. The lazy river, pools and hot tubs were awesome. The kitchen has what you need for basic meals like eating cereal or baking frozen pizzas but it's not equipped for cooking. My only complaint was that the TV in the main room is basically not usable. It kept freezing up every 10 seconds and kicking you out of Netflix or cable programming. That would have been a huge bummer if we had bad weather. I see from other reviews that this has been an ongoing issue. I hope property management checks into this.

Great condo and great amenities! Only disappointment was the tv reception. It kept going in and out. Everything else was great! Loved the ice machine. We will be back!!!!

We really loved the unit, it was clean and had plenty of space. We weee not aware however that it was on the 25th floor. It was challenging to get our two handicapped family members to anywhere really. The elevators were a huge challenge and probably my biggest complaint. The property could use more handicap parking. There were a couple of quirks with the unit like the dryer took 2-3 rounds before drying clothes, the microwave did not work properly all the time and the shower heads did not utilized the water pressure like it could and just sprayed everywhere in the master. These were minor things that didn’t bother us too much. We stayed 8 days, 7 nights and wished I would’ve called in for a mid week clean due to the sand on the floors. While I loved the unit the property itself is not somewhere we would stay again just due to the lack of handicap accessibility. The lazy river and out door pool are always super packed, there’s no where to sit 9/10 times. Overall very nice but for a family with handicapped family it was challenging.

Condo was great. We had a really good time. Only a few problems. There were 4 bathrooms and only 2 had a roll of toilet paper. We called and was told that there should have been a roll in each bathroom and that they would take care of it the next morning which they did not do, but we just went and bought some. I also left my toiletries bag (yes was my fault). I sent a text and an email about it. All the text that I got back said “I asked cleaner”. I told them I would pay to have it shipped. I haven’t gotten any other response as of yet. But again that was my fault for leaving it, just wish they would have been more helpful on that.

The location was great! The condo was accommodating for 9 adults. However, it was dirty and could use maintenance. We paid a lot of fees that should be refunded. Of those fees, I fee sure there was a cleaning fee included and the condo had food, candy and drinks scattered in the condo when we arrived.

Very roomy condo but needs updating. I can get past the updates that were needed but cleaning was only minimally done. There was no comforter on one of the beds so I went and bought a blanket. There were no extra sheets for us to put on the couch bed so I bought sheets for our kids to sleep on. Dryer wouldn’t dry towels until my husband cleaned out the vent hose and it was filled with nasty water. Also, make sure you get to the condo early or late for check-in as there are only one set of elevators for 30 floors. One poor guy I met was waiting an hour and a half to take his stuff to his room. Pools were great and overall we enjoyed the trip but I was disappointed in the condo itself.

This condo was beautiful, very spacious, and had all the necessary amenities. The view from the balcony was outstanding and overall, it was a great experience.

The week was wonderful on the beach. The only thing I would change would be better cleaning from the cleaning service prior to our arrival. there was sand on the floor and food from the last visitors under the couches. We had to sweep the floor at the beginning of our stay.

Condo had a great layout, beds were comfortable, well stocked. Very dirty upon arrival. Floors and balcony were filthy. Socks black. Chips and food wrappers in sofa, etc.

We enjoyed our condo, and the property is well maintained (except the linens, which were motel quality).
To keep it short, I had one huge complaint: Phoenix has a 4:30pm check in and a 10:00am check out. Plus, on the day we checked out, our automatic door code turned off at 9:45am (had to get a maid to let us back in the condo). Unacceptable.

We loved the layout of the condo having the 4th bathroom, especially with 6 of us staying there. We also loved the lazy river and the closeness of the beach access. We were very disappointed, however, with the cleanliness of the condo, or should I say lack of. There was food on the floors and in the chairs in the living room. The floors looked like they had not been vacuumed or swept. We had to sweep the balcony before we would even step out onto it. We swept up 2 large piles of "stuff" on the balcony. The first night we were there, the smoke alarm started chirping, so we called the number on our email and left a message. We had to call again the next morning and the lady just happened to be pulling up at the condos. She came up and put a new battery in the alarm for us. While she was there, we told her about how dirty the condo was when we arrived and she said she would let the cleaning people know about it, but never apologized! She said they were in the middle of "deep cleaning" the units, but the food all over didn't have anything to do with deep cleaning. We tried to vacuum some dust bunnies off the broom before sweeping the balcony and the vacuum wouldn't even suck the dust bunnies off the broom, so if they did attempt to vacuum, it probably wouldn't have sucked anything up off the floor. If I owned a condo, I would want to know that the cleaning crew wasn't doing a very good job of cleaning.

The negative was the Elevators during peak times. The
check-in was a problem with everyone checking in at the same time. The staff were very helpful. The only problem was the pool rules said no glass bottles were allowed and there were many with those in the lazy river. Our rental unit was very nice

Great place to stay! The condo was clean and in good condition. I was worried that we would spend a ton of time waiting for elevators since we were so high up, but it wasn't a problem at all. There were a few times we would have to wait a couple of cycles to get on at the bottom, but it was never too bad.
The lazy river was amazing and the beach was so close. We rented chairs and that's the way to go.
I thought the building was very well taken care of and there were always employees making sure the floor was dry and the place was clean.
I was also concerned about parking and this was also not a problem. Sometimes we had to go to the 6th or 7th floor of the garage, but it wasn't a problem.
The only thing I would have changed is to bring some disposable containers from home for leftovers. There weren't many dishes with covers for us to use after we cooked. And since we cooked most of our meals in the condo, we had a lot of stuff to store. I got a few at Wal-Mart.

We enjoyed the stay. The room was great, view, easy in an out . Beaches weren’t crowded just an overall great place. There was a few things that needed to have been done before we got there. One shower was stoped up , just needed the hair cleaned out of drain. Coffee maker still had coffee ground in it from previous guest. Just minor things that should have been checked by cleaners . No phone reception. The dog barking next door. Will be using this place again.

Had a great time. Very nice place to stay. Floors could have been cleaner though. I realize its hard to keep floors clean that close to the beach but being the beginning of spring?? Other than that the place was pretty clean and I would stay again.

We had a fantastic stay!!! The views were unbelievable and saw dolphins swimming on a couple different mornings. Location is great! Everything you need is a short drive. Not much is walkable though if you are looking to do that. The only true complaints would be the Wi-Fi kept going in and out and the reception in the building wasn’t good. The other thing was if you had your patio door open there is a strong whistle sound that goes through the condo. I’m guessing it’s because the entrance door just needs to be sealed tighter so the wind doesn’t go through. The patio screen door could also be replaced but those are all minor issues and it wouldn’t stop me from staying there again! We will be back!

We had a great experience at Phoenix West. The weather was warm enough to really enjoy the beach and even the outdoor pools. The indoor pool was a tremendous hit!

Was nice, the kids loved the slide and lazy river! Room was nice could have been a little cleaner. Hated that we had to put our tent up so far back on the beach. Will probably stay in a house next time for this reason.

Have rented a lot of condos over the years, but this was one of the best. Three bedrooms with 3 and 1/2 bathrooms and great views.

This rental was filthy upon arrival. It was clearly left fithy intentionality. There were water and toothpaste spit spots on all bathroom mirrors & faucets, piles of sand throughout the condo, the mircowave is damaged, therefore having to tweek it in order for it to operate, the A/C filter has not been changed since May 2021 and there is 2" of A/C dust caked on the inside of the HVAC closet and dust caked on the baseboards. It is absolutley disgusting.

The condo exceeded our expectations. The view of the Gulf was beautiful. The property had great amenities with the lazy River being our family favorite. The staff were always very courteous and professional. The only downside was the dining room furniture needed much repair or be replaced. No complaints at all. We plan to come back in the near future.

The condo was great. One huge problem was the mold in the bar ice maker so we couldn’t use the ice 2. Property closed the indoor facility bec of storms which is ridiculous- why have them if you can’t use??

The condo was beautiful, and very spacious. Unfortunately, the hotel was down to two working elevators at the time of check out and the cleaning lady came early-- before 10:00-- and kicked us out. so we wound up waiting for over an hour in the elevator foyer with my elderly parents, 4 kids and 3 carts. But we have stayed here before and that was not a problem, so I would chalk that up to bad luck.

Beautiful location, had one issue and the staff was right on top of it. Was a little bummed that to view network channels, you had to have a personal account to login. Dish, Direct tv, etc.

We enjoyed our stay immensely in Phoenix West 2504. Unit is enormous with wonderful view of the gulf. Lazy river was fantastic. Very short walk to the beach. Could not have asked for any better.

The rental experience was great! The front desk to get your parking pass was helpful and friendly. The condo was gorgeous, the furniture was very comfortable and the beds were great. The condo was clean and we had everything we needed to stay during a hurricane Sally.

Halfway though the vacation a maintenance problem occurred in the building and shut off power and A/C. Had to pack up and leave without anywhere else to stay. The rental company refunded the rest of our nights. Definitely one for the memory books of how we don’t want our vacation to end up.

We have been staying in golf shores every years for the pass 4 years. We took this condo on the review that there was a new owner and said they was replacing the furniture. Well the furniture hasn't been replaced. This condo was horrible the furniture was dirty, very uncomfortable, the outlets in the kitchen wasn't working, the kitchen sink faucet was about to fall off took two hands to make it work. The master suite bed was horrible we could sleep on it and had to sleep in another bedroom. The outside furniture again was falling apart and tell me why wouldn't you have nice chairs for people to watch the great views. The views was the only thing that was great. The owners need to stay a couple of nights there so they could see the problems that they have. My advise is with those prices your charging per night you need to step up your condo if your wanting people to come back. I have stay in many condo through the years and know what you get at those prices. Im writing this review to let people know what I experienced and then let them make there own choices. After this we will now be going back to the other condo that we love and not keep looking for others.

Overall this was a nice place. We didn't have enough silverware, but management was quick to bring more. We were missing a dining room chair and some of the others were fragile. Would have liked a bigger balcony. The other half of our party was next door in 2503 which had a bigger balcony. The beach was VERY crowded.
