Phoenix West 2308

We have vacationed at Phoenix West for several years and always enjoy our stay there. Grandkids love the lazy river and the water slide. Close proximity to restaurants, beach shops and grocery stores.

Great experience. We had the best time and love all the space that you have to offer a family of 8.

The condo was very nice, and clean! It was just as described! We even got a text saying we could check in a few hours early! The facilities were well kept and we felt secure the entire time we were there. The lazy river was a hit for the kids. We used to grills on site to cook supper one night! Saturday must be a popular check out day because we had to wait about 20 minutes to get on the elevator but every other day it wasn’t a problem. Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely rent from Phoenix West again.

while the condo seems nice, it's clear it has been neglected for awhile. both couches need new cushions as they are hard to even sit on. The master mattress is hard as a rock and the ceiling fan needs to be replaced as it sounds like it's going to fall out of the ceiling. The view is wonderful and the building is very nice.

This was our 2nd stay at Phoenix West and our 2nd time using this rental company. We love Phoenix West. A safe, clean property with friendly staff. My feedback for this unit would be that it was overall not clean. The linens were not clean with stains and hair present. The floors were not clean. There was sand and hair in all the bathrooms. One of the bathrooms had mold. The dining chairs had sand on the seats. It did not smell clean when we walked in. The trundle bed underneath the day bed was detached from the bed. The extra blankets didn’t smell clean. We just equate this with very poor execution by the cleaning company. It was definitely enough to make us not choose this unit again.

However, Charlotte was who we dealt with with our booking and she was amazing! We had left something very valuable on accident in the unit after checking out and she went out of her way to be sure we were able to get it back. You really cannot put a price on honesty and that’s rare to find those types of people in this world today. So, thank you, Charlotte for your hospitality and taking good care of us!

Perfect location and great view. The property could use some deep cleaning and furniture up keep. Particularly the extra bedding and the living room furniture.

The over all appearance was nice, we had issues with the internet the whole time. The front desk couldn’t help. It was very frustrating as two of us needed to remote work. The floors weren’t clean, we bought a mop and mop the condo. The beds were very uncomfortable in the rooms not the master. We had a wonderful trip, loved the pool and the lazy river. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The condo was very spacious and that was nice, as we have a handicapped grandson. I would definitely go back but would request a different room.

Overall this is a great building well maintained, a great workout room and indoor pool. The outdoor pool and lazy river were closed for winter and repairs, but both have a nice deck area around them. Our condo unit has 3 rooms and 4 bathrooms large enough for 3 couples to rent. Found the condo clean with fresh bedding and a well stocked kitchen with all the equipment needed for preparing meals. Very nice unit my only complaint would be that the furniture is worn out and needs replacement, well broken in and uncomfortable.I have to include the beds also.

The place is large, with a beautiful view, however the shear filth really made this experience poor. Especially for the expense. The pillows had white stain like substances on them and and balls of hair. There were trash and several chips beside one of the beds where it looked like a kid had been eating.. The showers were all dirty and all had miscellaneous hair all over the shower walls. One toilet had stool in it. The kitchen sink had something gross in it. We honestly felt like we needed to go somewhere else and take a shower after sitting down in there.. Asking for them to reclean it seemed like a moot point since this is their practice to begin with. Not sure who the owners use to clean but they need to find someone else. I'm guessing the owners don't even know it is filthy.Moreover, The place needs a major upgrade. The refrigerator is broken...broken multiple shelves and there is a rag stuffed in the freezer because the ice machines been taken out. The washing machine would not fill with water once we finally got it working the clothes never dried in the dryer. If the owner sees this and would like photographs I have them. There was no way to get ahold of the owner of the property which is the only way I see this issue being fixed. Complaining to the management company would do nothing because they are the problem. We paid way too much for this unit for what we encountered during our stay. Again the view was beautiful but that only goes so far.

Everything went very good and it made for a great vacation

We had a great stay, making memories with family. When a problem arose with a TV, Charlotte, the property manager saw it thru until it was resolved. Condo was as advertised. Very nicely furnished and in great condition. No complaints.

I wasn't allowed to park, or unload even though the reservation is in my name. I asked for alternatives on where to park and was told I had to figure it out at the desk.

Overall Mediocre stay. Good things first - beautiful gulf front view, and large balcony. The master bed linens were stained or dirty , the slider curtains were very dirty , some dishes in the cupboard were dirty, an electrical outlet in the living room did not have a cover. The hot tub wall was also very dirty.

Loved everything about this unit from the cleanliness to the space to the view! I would definitely request this unit again we had zero problems while there everything was smooth from check in to check out. Instructions sent before time were dead on. We had an amazing Thanksgiving! Looking forward booking our next beach vacation.

When we arrived to our room, we were very disappointed to see crumbs/sand on the floor, sand on top of dressers, hairs/debris in the beds, used hand towels in the kitchen, hairs on the floors and in the sinks, and stains everywhere. All the curtains have stains, the floorboards have clearly not been deep cleaned in a long time. There were dirty utensils in the kitchen drawers. The patio table on the balcony was unusable due to the glass top being missing (there was a hand written note left in the room stating the glass for the table was on order). And also one of the dressers in the double bed room is missing a drawer. So our first night was spent going to the store, buying cleaning supplies and a mop (the mop left in the room was disgusting). We called the management of Phoenix Rentals, and they refunded our cleaning fee and brought new sheets and towels the next day. After getting everything clean ourselves, we did have a wonderful rest of the week. Please, Phoenix Rentals, deep clean this unit. Update the curtains and comforters on the beds, replace the broken furniture. This is a very nice room, it’s just been left in a poor state.

Overall I was happy with the place but next time I will not be on the 23rd floor I thought that it was too high up.

We were so happy with our stay here! The layout of the condo is great and felt more spacious than I expected. The balcony is so nice and fit all 11 of us (6 adults, 5 kids). Everything was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. The ice machine was nice and we never ran out of ice. Showers were great. We did a Walmart Grocery Pickup order and had it ready when we arrived so we didn’t have to go shopping after a long drive.

The beds were all great and comfortable. The pull out sofas weren’t very comfortable but I don’t think any are!

The wait tor the elevators wasn’t bad.

We had three cars (coming from three states) but the front desk would only let us buy parking passes for two cars so we had to park on a few miles away at a church that does overflow parking.

The lazy river and slide were so much fun for the kids and we’d take our beach chairs out early in the morning and go back and forth all day.

Absolutely gorgeous

We really enjoyed that the condo was in the beach and had a nice view but our unit had a few problems mainly that one of sofa beds was broken along with coffee maker and one of the 4 nice bathtubs was not draining and dryer took about 8 hours to dry. WiFi didn’t work most of time. We used WiFi from above us. I think it just needs a big update. Ice maker had a frozen kitchen rag stuffed in it. I would not stay there again because elevators took forever a good part of our stay

We really enjoyed this unit. We have stayed at Phoenix west before but this unit was our favorite.

it was our second time at the west,it will be the last,the building is to big ,the beach both times is to crowed,not enough elevators,didn't care for the glass table,steel chairs that we keep hitting our elbows, ribs, and side. The beds felt like they were old and wore out.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Phoenix West. The condo was completely perfect for our 2 large families (4 adults and 9 kids!!!). Everyone had comfortable sleeping arrangements. The condo was perfect. The property was simply amazing. All of the pictures were exactly as it was. Temps were in the upper 60s and low 70s the whole week, and some more local folks thought we were crazy to be swimming in that but to us Minnesotans it was amazing. The beach section in front of the Phoenix is as nice as anywhere around. We've been to Fort Myers several times, the beach was as nice here, but getting places (traffic) was so much better here. Would love to come back!

Great condo, very clean. We had 12 and had plenty of beds and didn't feel crowded. Not having to keep up with keys was a huge help with that many people. lazy river was awesome.

We had a lovely stay for our girls weekend get away. The condo was very clean. There was a few issues, but I contacted the company I booked through and they said they would inform the owner so it could be fixed. I would book this place again

Rental was great and in a great location. Kids loved the lazy river. Only downfall was 4 elevators for 29 floors. Long waits at times. Several light bulbs out in the condo.

We had such a great time at the Phoenix West, loved the lazy river and water slide. Weather was incredible, great staff, keyless entry lock was great as well. Look forward to staying here next summer.

This condo was great. It was clean with plenty of room for my family. The view was great and the grandkids loved looking for dolphins, sharks and manta rays. Everyone enjoyed the lazy river,water slide, indoor pool and hot tubs. The only problems we had was the 1st bedroom on left with queen bed the fan would not stay on when we turned the light off and we could not find the remote for the TV. I could have the manager but decided we could make it without call them. We will definitely look into this condo next year when we come.

Condo was clean and spacious. There was 11 of us and we had plenty of room. The view from the balcony was gorgeous. We will definitely be back next year!!!

From the moment we walked in the door we were in awe! Very roomy and well decorated. Beautiful view from the balcony. Kitchen was well equipped and the wet bar for mixing drinks was awesome. Kitchen and living room flow nicely to create a nice social setting with a nice back drop of the Gulf of Mexico. One of our group of six utilized one of the two sofa beds. The master bedroom and bathroom was super comfortable and elegant. Wake up and open the curtains to a wonderful view. The other 2 bedrooms rooms looked comfortable, well decorated and there were no complaints from my two young adult kids or their friends. They loved the condo, the gym, the swimming pool and the beach. We changed the combination lock on the door to an easy one and everyone could enter and leave with ease. I enjoyed my morning cup of coffee on the balcony while taking in the view and fresh air. We loved our time in this condo and highly recommend this property.

A beautiful condo and very comfortable. Loved the property amenities. I thought the parking fees were too steep for 3 nites. I feel that rates should be reduced for multiple cars and less nights. We were not informed until we got there that we had to pay for parking @ $55 for 2 cars. With all the add on fees over the nightly rate, it becomes very expensive for a weekend.

My family and I had a great stay at Phoenix West 2308. The unit was beautifully decorated and well maintained The rooms were very comfortable and clean. Cooking and meal preparation was so easy because the kitchen was well stocked with items that we normally use at home but wouldn’t necessarily take on vacation. Most of all the view overlooking the lazy river and beach was excellent . We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to book our next vacation with you.

Condo was clean and everything was just as described. Enjoyed the entire week stay with no issues. One of the elevators was not working but still did not seem like it took too long to get up and down.

We were happy with the location of our condo. We also enjoyed the pool area, including the lazy river and water slide. We appreciated the quick access to the beach and several areas to wash sand off when returning from the beach. Parking was not a problem.
Regarding inside the building: Check in went smoothly and quickly. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Not enough elevators were available especially upon arriving and towards the end of our stay.
Regarding unit 2308: Unit was clean when we arrived and well stocked. The view was amazing. Ice maker on fridge did not work but free standing ice maker worked great and was a definite plus. Lighting seemed very dim in lvg room and bedrooms. Mattress on queen in front bdroom was very uncomfortable. Other beds were comfortable.
We would consider staying here again.

The furnishings and decor are so cool and the view is out of this world. We love PW for the amenities. Kids were on the slide the whole time it seemed like and we had fun in the indoor pool on the days it rained. Great stay. Easy to work with rental company. Hated to leave.

Enjoyed the condo in a great location on a beautiful beach. Lazy river was even better than expected. Master needs a serious bedding upgrade. Overall, great stay.

Phoenix West 2308 is a nice rental. Though it is not small child friendly with lots of sharp edges and corners and 100% tile floors. Fluorescent light cover in kitchen kept trying to fall off and had a few paint chips fall from ceiling in living room area. Also strange that there are French doors leading from dining area to the master that can't be locked to keep people from coming in to the bedroom but to keep people in the bedroom. There are only 4 elevator for this whole complex and wait times are ridiculous at times.

This was our second stay at the Phoenix West and it was as nice and enjoyable as the first time. Very family friendly. The home was clean and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. Our family of 12 enjoyed our stay at Orange Beach and we look forward to returning again.

Beautiful condo!! We were visiting for Foley High School graduation. The condo was equipped with everything we needed! It had a gorgeous view! Comfortable beds! VERY clean! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose this condo again in the future! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home away from home with us!!

The condo was beautiful and well-stocked as far as being able to cook in the condo. The view was spectacular, the unit was clean. The rental agency was very quick to respond. Would definitely stay there again.

In general, suite 2308 very nice and roomy, called about the main room fan not working, maintenance came but did not address or fix. Access via the elevators is a nightmare, never seen it like that anywhere else, and have been coming to orange beach for 20 years. Will not stay here again because of it/them. One night awoken by an alarm and a broadcast of "do not leave your room, elevators not running and building on lockdown". Called front desk for an explanation and was promised a return notice of when all clear, but received no notice that there was an all clear during the night. Worried all night what was wrong and could not get out at that time even if we wanted to. First you warn us, then leave us in the dark the rest of the night. Reason #2 we won't be staying there again.

We absolutely loved our stay, could not believe we were right on the beach! The condo was so nice and well taken care of. The only complaint was that we could not find the remote for the fan in the living room but otherwise we loved the space.

For the price, the experience was ok however the stay ended on an unhappy note. Check out time was 10:00 AM but I guess the Property Management Company changed the electronic code for the unit around 9:45 AM locking us out of the unit as we were packing up the car. With two kids in the car and not all of belongings out of the unit, we had to wait a half hour for house cleaning to open the unit to get the rest of our stuff out.
This was unfair and we won't be back to stay at this unit.

We had a fabulous time and hope to go back in the future. We were overall pleased with this unit and this condo and this beach! My ONLY complaint is that there didn't seem to be enough elevators to support the check in process. Every elevator that opened was full!

All was great. 23rd floor no long elevator waits. Allowed to check in prior to 4. Quiet with perfect beach balcony view. Plenty of seating inside and out for our party of 6. Love each bedroom has private bath

The condo itself was nice but would of been a more pleasant stay if the floors were swept! The moment we walked in that's the first thing I heard was sand at the bottom of my shoes. I knew them I would not walk around the condo with no shoes on. We had to sweep a little biit but it needed a real good cleaning and I was not going to spend my time on vacation sweeping floors! Other than that the dishwasher was broken so we hand washed everything. I already informed the renter with the problem . Everything else was fine.

Never got in the rental Ipaid for. Was given another unit but had to move to another after 4 days. A lot of work for us seniors. The first unit was clean and kitchen well stocked. Second unit not so. Screen door ripped, toilets moldy, and kitchen was not stocked for cooking for a crowd nor for a baby shower. Not sure i would come again. Was quite an adventure and a lot of work and planning around two places. Wish the condo I rented had not smelled so terrifically of paint.
The management treated us well and took care of things they could. Hard to answer below questions as I was in two different units. I might recommend to a friend and hope they have better experience. Think in your ads for place, you should mention windows pictured n bedrooms do not open-in 3 bedroom units. Very claustrophobic. First time in condo so maybe this is the way it is. Was a total surprise. Even if they opened from the top ,with some kind of lock, Into the hallway there would be air circulating. Not a fan of fans blowing on me all night long. Loved eating out a few times. Bubbles was good and close. Think it is Harbour Pointe we liked also but a little noisy. Food was great. Royal Reds were a treat
