Phoenix VII 307

Ww spent 3 nights at this Phoenix VII condo. It's a very nice unit that seems a little larger than the typical condo. The property manager replied promptly when we had a minor issue.
The cleaning people did a poor job cleaning though. The glass top tables weren't cleaned well.

No hot water in kitchen

We had a nice, very comfortable stay. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner but otherwise no complaints at all.

This is a great getaway. The condo was very clean. The view from the balcony was spectacular. The balcony was large as advertised. We enjoyed eating on the balcony with the views. The location was great. You are near everything. The building amenities were very good. I liked that there were shopping carts available with the luggage racks which made it easy to bring our stuff to the condo. The condo is great for a couple bought might be a bit small for a family. The condo is right in front of the elevators in an enclosed hallway. That was great because we did have a day of bad weather. The bed was a bit soft, but thats because I prefer a more firm mattress. It was still very nice. Overall, we were very satisfied.

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. The biggest problem is the toilet is loose at the floor and rocks when you sit on it I complained about this problem last year and it was never fixed. I'm surprised this has not caused a leak problem for the floor below.They installed new patio doors which were nice. The only problem they were installing new doors in other units and the procedure was very loud. If you wanted to sleep after 8:00 AM you were screwed. I understand that this is a item and needs to be completed is was just bad that we could not sleep in. The other problem was they just painted the whole unit and the oil based paint smelled strong for the first week. We had problems with the DirecTv not working, luckily I figured out that the painters had unplugged the cable from the wall and didn't plug them back in. Don't get me wrong the unit is nice well stocked and clean some issues that the owner could not control. The last issue is there are 4 elevators, they had one that was for the contractors only and one of the others kept breaking down. With it being during spring break timing the wait time to get an elevator was long. On nights and the weekends they could have removed the signage off the contractor only elevator to have at least one more elevator. We will probably stay at the Phoenix VII again just a different unit with a walk in shower.

The unit is very nicely decorated with 2 very comfortable recliner. The balcony was as advertised was very large and had ample seating with table and chairs as well as 2 lounge chairs. Everything was nice except for kitchen supplies. There were no sheet pans, no measuring spoons, not liquid measuring cup, and only a partial set of dry measuring cups. The other pots and pans were nice but the lack of these items really hindered my cooking. Dishes and glasses were well supplied.

Mold in vents and bathrooms vent broke. Shower rail rusted. Toliet and trash can broke. Pans rusted and frying pans stuck to everything. Bathroom outdated.

Everything was great! The room, the pool area, the short walk to the beach! We had the best time! Will definitely be staying again!

Clean, comfortable, with a great view and all the amenities you could want or need. Of course we took extra basics (paper towel, toilet paper, clothes washer pods and dryer sheets, etc.) Please be aware that the coffee maker is a DRIP maker (NOT A KEURIG)
Just added coffee & filters to the grocery list.
We did use the sofa bed which was surprisingly comfortable (no bar in the back!!).
Absolutely would stay here again!!

Great condo with a great view. Having two recliners were nice to have to relax in the evening. We also sat out on the deck and ate dinner and enjoyed the view. We had a problem when we arrived that the DirecTv wasn't working (DirecTv problem not the renter) but Clark our host jumped on the problem and got it resolved. They do need to work on the toilet though, the tank is loose on the bowl and the bottom needs to be shimmed and tightened to the floor. This wasn't a problem just an observation. Staying at the Phoenix VII was great the building is well maintained with a great staff. My wife and I have stayed a few times in the Gulf Shores Orange beach area and feel this was one of the best condos we stayed at and would stay there again.

This was a wonderful location to spend a few much needed days away. The condo was beautiful and much more than I expected. I will consider a Phoenix cono again. Also I will definitely tell my friends and family about such a beautiful place. Thanks for a great stay.

Everything was great at the condo!

The condo was just as described, the patio was huge and we all enjoyed starting and ending our days sitting out there. The kitchen was well equipped. The pools are not heated so they were a cold during our stay, but the kids didn’t mind swimming in the indoor one since the room was warm. The hot tubs were great. The beach was the beautiful white sand beach you would expect on the gulf and chair rental service was excellent. Great location, close to everything. We would definitely stay here again if in Orange beach!

We were repeat guests, so can't say enough good about this condo. Beachy decor welcomes you, it has everything one needs to prepare meals, close to many restaurants, wonderful large indoor pool with 3 hot tubs outdoor pool, fitness center, ball court, etc. Only issue was the property management company changed the door key code earlier than check out time, and we couldn't get back in to remove our items without a bit of a phone call fuss.

Great location

Garbage disposal did not work. Kuerig did not work properly. Headrests on recliners were dirty. Balcony was dirty and furniture was in bad repair. No more than three elevators ever worked and usually two. Always a terrible back up. Dirty linens were left by elevators for 3 days. Have stayed in VII many times and overall the building maintenance is no longer acceptable. I would have recommended Phoenix VII prior to this week.

The porch and view are awesome. The condo is very clean and well-appointed. Very comfortable for 1-2 people; probably comfortable enough for 3-4 who are outside a lot. Full W/D. Not quiet. Free WiFi is public so bring your own hotspot. This rental company is not the property manager so if you need help while you are there, you won’t get it. Reservations folks were very nice. Recommend and would go back.

The weather could have been a bit more cooperative, but the condo was everything we needed. Husband didn't like the huge balcony, felt it wasn't as private as he would have liked, but if you have smaller kids, this is the perfect play balcony.

i am very hesitant to post this review as I do not people to think I am a complainer. I am a very easy person to please but this particular unit was just plain dirty. I got a spoon out of the drawer to stir my coffee and it was crusted with something, it wasn’t from not getting clean from the dishwasher either. It was literally just put in the drawer dirty. The floors were completely filthy, I swept with a broom almost as soon as we got in the unit there was lots of crumbs and chips, there were no dustpans so I got the vacuum out and it was so full that dirt blew everywhere when I turned it on. The couch is so filthy that you didn’t want to sit on it. The bed was just half thrown together, not at all what you would expect. The patio hadn’t been swept, people either above or to the sides above us kept throwing things in our balcony. We would wake up to trash, beer cans, potholders etc. every morning. The staff had to be called and reminded to send us our codes before we arrived, usually you get those at least a week in advance. We were very disappointed in this unit and Phoenix 7. This used to be a very nice place to stay but it seems to be in need of some TLC. Maybe after they do their renovations it will be better.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was nice and had everything you could want. The view was spectacular and the weather was very nice. The holiday weekend was a little crowded but after that it was great. The condo is close to the elevators and the balcony was spacious. We will definitely book this condo again in the future.

Our Vacation Experience with this unit was the best.

This condo is very nice and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.But if you are looking for any kind of peach and quiet this place in August is not for you. It is very close to the pool and we had people in it yelling and playing loud music at 8:00 am until 10:00 pm. Also beach and pool were very crowded. If you don't mind a lot of people, this is a very nice place.

We absolutely loved this unit. I like to spend a large amount of my time on vacation chilling and reading books so this balcony was perfect. We will book this unit again next summer.

We stayed in your condo for a week in May and it was wonderful. A perfect view of the pool and the beach. A nice breeze blowing all the time. We will be back for sure.

Outstanding, Ms Roberts helped me greatly when re-scheduling my stay due to a death in my gf's family. Will definitely book through Phoenix Rentals next trip to the beach.

This was an awesome vacation rental. The beach is white sand with clear blue water.
The condo was perfect. Large kitchen, nice living room and bedroom. Having a place on the beach with all the feelings of being home. If you needed it the kitchen had it.
The condo was quiet and a great location off the elevators. I cant wait to come back next year.

I decided on a getaway for the long holiday weekend and the condo did not disappoint. Staff at the Phoenix were great and the view was just amazing. I wanted a nice balcony and view to enjoy the sunrise with my coffee and Charlotte was able to make that happen. Thanks again and I will be a return customer!!!

The condo was beautiful...just like what the pictures look like. Great location just get in the elevator and go staright dwn to the beach!! Our two boys had a blast. Outdoor pool was great..loved the side kiddie pools for our little one. Friendly atmosphere everyone says hello. We will be planning another trip back to the Pheonix VII!!

We would rate our stay as very nice and relaxing. The only problem we had is when somebody got sick and threw up over the rail in a unit up above ours and we had to get nasty with the front desk before they would finally come and clean it up for us

I spent 4 nights with a girlfriend at this condo in May 2018 and we had a great time. The condo is in a great location overlooking the pool and has a huge balcony if you want to spend time lounging in the room. The only downside, which is no fault of the owner, is the hallway light shines directly into the bedroom. I sleep with a nightshade anyway but my friend wished she had one too.

We very much enjoyed the condo. Loved the large balcony that had shade and sunny areas. This was the perfect condo for an extended weekend trip with my husband before we have our second child. I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the bed was since I was 29 weeks pregnant during our stay.

MY ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE PIER TO THE BEACH ...RANDOM UNEVEN BOARDS - WITNESSED NUMEROUS RESIDENTS TRIP INCLUDING MYSELF WHICH CAUSED ME TO FALL FORWARD AND UNFORTUNATELY LAND ON MY FACE , MY HANDS OF COURSE WERE FULL OF BEACH ACCESSORIES NOT ALLOWING ME TO BRACE MY FALL LOL GOT UP WITH A BLOODY NOSE BUT DOING FINE . HOPING THIS WILL ADDRESS THE PROBLEM BEFORE ANY OTHER INCIDENT . WE ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH OTHER THAN THAT AND SO THANKFUL IT HAPPENED ON THE LAST DAY - I WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO EMBARRASSED TO APPEAR ON THE BEACH AGAIN !!! The condo is exactly as pictured. Even though it is close to the elevator, I was not disturbed by any noise (and I am a light sleeper). This was a weekend spent with my son and we enjoyed the pools and the walkway to beach was great. Parking was not an issue. I highly recommend this condo for a small family or a couple. I will rent here again.

Arrived at 7pm had not recieved any information as how to get into the condo and the number you called to speak to some one was automated and voicemail full. Thank goodness the owner lives on property and the front desk attendant was able to contact him when she did not work for VRBO!! Info should be sent out prior to 4pm which is check in

Loved staying at the Phoenix VII #307. Cute condo, clean and with a comfortable bed. Kitchen was well equipped (even though I took my favorite breakfast skillet).This condo had the largest balcony we’ve ever had staying at the Phoenix condos. Would recommend it for anyone. Thanks for letting us enjoy Thanksgiving on the beach!!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay here. Charlotte, the property manager, could not have been more accommodating and helpful. The oversized balcony was great. This condo has everything you need and nothing that you don't. We have found our new "go to" property for many more beach trips to come.

Wonderful location. Wonderful pool. Problems he unit we stayed in had a sticky sticky kitchen floor. Also, the frig.looked like it had been left out to rust for a couple of months. Then and this is special the unit had a shorage of garbage bags. When you stay somewhere for 4 days plus you might need another one. Management would only give me one. Really ? She said it was a rule. Ok really ? Back
bill the unit owner for the 4 cents the bag cost.

The condo was fine for the two of us, we arrived on Wednesday, but left on Friday due to the hurricane Nate approaching. We would stay there again.
The only con was the bathroom. Across the top of the shower was quite dirty and mold was growing in the corner of it. I cleaned it up so that it didn't grow more

I have stayed at this complex many times over the years. This particular unit was disappointing. The screen door to patio was broke and off track. Hot and cold water faucet in tub is backwards. Receptacles on one whole wall in kitChen didn't work. Fridge does NOT get food cold at all! Will never stay in unit 307 again!

This is a great little condo with a large balcony. It was clean and had great décor. The owners are very helpful and responsive. I would recommend this condo for a couple, or for a small family. I all ways love the Phoenix VII. It is located close to the pass and the walk is short to the beach. The kids love the indoor pool.

Our experience in 307 was awesome! The beach is so close yet you have the option of a pool as well. We were traveling with our sons (ages 2 & 5) so the pool was amazing! The room was nice and clean and big enough for all four of us. The oversized balcony was nice. We ate breakfast out there every morning and watched the waves roll in. The property is in a very good location. Close enough to all the restaurants but far enough away that the traffic isn't crazy when trying to pull in and out off the main road. I would strongly recommend staying in Pheonix VII.

Great condo for the money. Very large balcony with nice view. Condo had everything we needed.

Phoenix VII was very relaxing and enjoyable, and remains as one our favorite vacation spots. Although the condo furniture was adequate, the kitchen glasses needed some updating.

Renting this condo was the best decision. Great accommodations and easy access to the beach. Very nicely decorated and very comfortable.

Our family had a wonderful time while staying here! The bed was SUPER COMFY! We would certainly like to stay here again!

This condo is perfect for a couple and even a couple with small children. Great kitchen layout. Spacious living area. Very comfy bed. Large balcony with great view of the pool and ocean. We love this unit for our weekend beach getaways!

Overall stay was good. The unit was fine, but could use some updating.

We love Orange Beach and had a very lovely time.

The condo was great. Nice view, good space, very nice complex. One concern to be aware of is that this is on a VERY busy 4 lane highway with few lights and crosswalks. It is not a good place to walk or bike, unless you can do it from the beach side.
