Phoenix Gulf Shores 2202

This is the fourth visit to this cond. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness this trip.

Nice condo, clean , convenient location. TV was complicated to work, which frustrated the men. Parking passes were pricey for off season.

All in all it was a nice condo. $55 per car parking though is ridiculous! If you’re paying thousands of dollars to stay in a condo, parking should be included. I won’t ever stay there again for that sole reason.

This is our 3rd year in 2202, that should say it all! Never disappoints!! Clean, well stocked, and does not give the feel that this is rental property! We love the balcony and spend a lot of time together on it! We will be back again next year!!

Booking through VRBO has always been easy and a good experience. The condo this year was one of the best we have ever stayed in. Condo was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating for everyone. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you would need. The ice maker was awesome to have! The outdoor furniture was extra nice!!
Phoenix Gulf Shores property is very nice with the outdoor pool and water slide and the heated indoor pool. We enjoyed it all.
I would highly recommend this condo! The only thing I was disappointed about was not being able to see the sunset from condo.

Once again a wonderful experience at Phoenix Gulf Shores. We did have some issues with people smoking on their balconies but those issues were addressed as well as they could be. Wonderful property’s always.

It was one of the best rentals we have stayed in . We have rented houses and condos for years . Always on the east coast but the gulf is exceptional . Very clean and up to date condo and it lived up to its reviews. We will definitely stay again. Thank You.

This condo was exactly as described in the listing. Great location for daily walks, close to restaurants and grocery stores, great indoor pool (although loud, hot, and unsupervised most of the time), etc. The kitchen was stocked well so there wasn’t anything we couldn’t do. One thing that was frustrating though was the ice maker wasn’t filling up very quickly so we ended up having to buy ice a few days. The property manager was quick to respond when we needed more dish towels and when we accidentally broke a lamp he was fair on the price. I was kind of confused in with the reviews saying if you get there after 5pm you have to go to another location so I called at 4:30pm (we hit traffic) and was told that was the case, so I was confused as to why that wasn’t communicated to us. According to reviews, we wouldn’t have been able to access the pool or beach if we’d of come straight to our condo. I was skeptical to choose this condo because I typically go with more tropically themed places and the overall decor was outdated. But it fit our needs. The balcony furniture was a plus!!

This property was awesome! The pictures and descriptions online were spot on when we got there. The actual unit itself was impeccable, the elevators were fast and plenty, the pools were perfect. This was an amazing spot for a single family, or multi family vacation! I would give this place a 4.9/5 starts overall! My only complaints would be that the security guards are a little over the top when “patrolling” the pools, and at the end of the boardwalk where it meets the sand, it was pretty washed out and there were sandbags right in the way. My family and I will definitely be back!!

We were very pleased with this rental! We read prior reviews of others who loved it. That is how we chose this rental. It had a great view over looking the Gulf. It was clean, spacious, and very well kept up. It was decorated very nicely. The furnishings were very good quality. The kitchen was spacious and all appliances were new and clean. Bathrooms were big and clean. Washer and dryer were new-ish, and worked fantastically. The TV was a smart TV so we could stream our devices.

Dishes in the cupboard and silverware in drawers were dirty And had to be washed thoroughly before we were able to use them. Mold was present between many of the plates and bowls as if they were put away wet. Lipstick marks and finger prints left on glasses, we are assuming this is because the dishwasher worked properly, as if the heating element was not working ( example: Butter was still on the knife after dishwasher was run and other dishes were still completely wet.).

Dry cereal was visible under couches, chairs, and on the balcony as well as candy wrappers left by the couch.

Makeup (blush) was smeared on the bathroom counter and on the floor.
While we do not want to complain, we want you to be aware that the cleaning service that you’ve hired and we were charged for was not adequate.

Beds were comfortable. Supplies were plentiful and appreciated. Balcony furniture was very comfortable and the view was BEAUTIFUL.

We had a wonderful time and this was such a nice resort! We will definitely be staying again! Everything was so nice and there was so much room in the condo.

We found the condo in excellent condition well supplied in the kitchen and extraordinarily clean. Located on the 22nd floor it landed self to watching a great deal of shark activity in the ocean and extraordinary views of the sunset.

We had a wonderful vacation with our kids and grandkids! The condo was exactly as advertised. It was spacious, very clean, had an amazing balcony with a beautiful view of the beach. There was a box full of beach toys on the balcony which was great for the grandkids. The pool was very nice with a waterslide that was a big hit. We were able to rent a couple chairs on the beach for the week too. Beach was wonderful! Condo is close to restaurants and shopping. Couldn't have asked for a better first experience with VRBO. Everyone wants to come back next year to the exact same spot!

Had a great time and the condo was really nice. Has a great view from way up on the 22nd floor. Will definitely consider this unit in the future. My only complaint is it seems like the property management company could do a better job getting the sand out of the pools and hot tubs at night. One of the hot tubs had a significant layer of sand at the bottom of it.

The facility was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing week on the beach. Pools were clean and the beach was private. This was by far the best spot we have rented.

The Condo is beautiful and stocked with everything you need! We will definitely be back next year!

Amazing condo with fabulous views! Very spacious, great for a large group. Kitchen was stocked with everything you could ever need. The only complaint we had was that the entryway rug kept sliding and the master bedroom rug was flipped up at the corner and we kept tripping on it.

We had two families with 5 adults and 5 kids. The space was perfect. It never felt crowded thanks to the large living spaces and the beautiful balcony. The view was breathtaking, and we all could have spent more time sitting on the balcony to enjoy it. The facility itself was very nice, and the two pools/hot tubs were lovely. But, nothing compares to the beach. There was always plenty of room for us to set up our tent and spread out. Everyone we encountered was super friendly, and we loved how centrally located it is. Hand down one of the best vacations our family has experienced!

Beautiful view, very clean and quiet. When the weather was clear we could watch dolphins from the balcony. Walking distance to Bahamas Bobs and pier 33 coffee. I would recommend both.

Beautiful condo~nicely decorated and plenty of space for a large family. The kitchen is well stocked with anything needed for cooking/dining in. Everything in the condo and on the balcony is in good shape~nothing appeared overly worn or damage.

Besides some rain, we has a great trip to Gulf Shores with the family. The condo was excellent, very comfortable, gorgeous views, everything we needed.

A beautiful property, overlooking the Gulf. Although the temperature outside was chilly, it was hot and sunny on our balcony. Due to COVID-19, we cooked in alot. The kitchen was very well stocked.

My family and I have been utilizing oceanfront condos across the USA as vacation homes for just over 40 years. THIS is with out a doubt THE nicest one we have ever stayed in! Ever! Location, view from balcony, premier in every aspect of luxury! Spotless, well appointed furniture. Kitchen was well equipped. An absolute joy to its guests!

This onto was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of room inside AND on the spacious balcony! The entire place was tastefully decorated, and you could see updates everywhere you looked. This is definitely a condo that is well cared for! There was everything you could need in the kitchen, plenty of towels in the bathrooms and paper products and such to get us started. The furniture was comfortable and there was enough seating for all of us.
We loved our time there, unfortunately we had to leave early due to Hurricane Sally. We would definitely come back and stay here again (just maybe a different time of year next time!).

We had a very nice stay with six adults. Clean and comfortable and nice amenities. This building is not as large as other Phoenix properties so the elevators being busy wasn’t an issue. We plan to return again in the future.

Condo was top notch! Kids loved the indoor and outdoor pool. The water slide was a nice addition. Views were great, beach was beautiful, Gulf Shores is such a clean area with great people! We will be back!

Very complete and well supplied, good supply of cooking utensils, glasses, plates, etc. Facilities were well kept and security was good.

The condo was beautiful and very spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, utensils & appliances. The pictures are exactly as shown on Vrbo website.

Beautiful clean unit with plenty of room for everyone. The furniture was a little big so the dining room table and chairs are close to other furniture but it never seemed to be much of a problem for all 8 of us that stayed there. 3 families had room to retreat when they wanted and there was lots to do close by too. Beautiful beach and pools for the kids. Will look into coming again in the future.

Just couldn’t be happier with this condo. So well arranged and comfortable. Balcony was so nice. Having spare paper products was so helpful. Beds were great and TVs all worked. So pleased!!!

Had a great time at 2202! Clean, nicely equipped for our family. Felt safe always had something to do. Good communication when necessary. Easy check in and out. View was incredible. Would be great if you could fix the traffic on I-65! :P

Overall we had a very nice stay at this condo. It was very clean and the view was great. The only negative experience our group had was the mattresses. They were the absolute worst mattresses we’ve ever slept on. We went and purchased a mattress topper for the bed we slept on. I had read previous reviews that the beds were uncomfortable and I thought surely they were exaggerating but they weren’t.

Great unit! Furnished with everything that you need. The balcony furniture makes it a great spot to relax at night. Saw some complaints about the firmness of the beds, they were very firm, but we all slept great on them. No complaints and will definitely stay in this condo again!

Our family stayed here for a week in September 2018. It was a last minute rental after Hurricane Florence diverted our original vacation in South Carolina. We booked within 24 hours and we were excited to find that the condo was very clean considering how quickly we had booked. After arriving, we were surprised that the condo was available considering how beautiful and well-equipped the condo was in addition to it's convenient location close to grocery and restaurants. Pros: The view! The view is absolutely stunning with a large balcony with entrances from the living room and the master bedroom. There was very comfortable furniture on the balcony and a chest that contained many children's beach toys - which was a real bonus for our toddlers. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we loved the ice machine and mini-bar. There was Netflix capabilities in every room - a huge bonus! The trash chute was conveniently located just down the hall. We were very impressed by the upkeep of the property, the walkways, the pool, everything was kept tidy throughout the day. The pool itself was perfect for small children. Our 1 year old was able to have a safe place to play in the zero entry and our 3 year old loved the slide. The beach was beautiful and clean. The key pad entry was very convenient. Cons: We had seen a previous reviewer say the beds were hard (they were) and we took a mattress topper.

My family and I recently spent a week at Gulf Shores Phoenix. We rented condo #2202 and had a great experience.

This beautifully furnished and decorated condo
was amazing -- by far the best condo we've ever rented! The very spacious unit provided more than ample room for our group to cook, dine, and socialize together. The 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths allowed all of us our privacy also.

The spectacular view of the Gulf and beach was wonderful. The huge balcony was very inviting with lots of comfortable furniture. It quickly became a favorite spot for morning coffee, a quiet read, outdoor dining, a great place to watch the dolphins playing in the Gulf, and our social spot to wind down the evening.

The kitchen is large enough for several cooks and is equipped with everything you could need --including a blender, a stocked spice rack, a Kuerig, and a regular coffee maker. The separate bar area is equally well equipped including a second blender and it's own ice maker.

We also enjoyed the swimming pools, the huge pool decks with areas of both sun and shade, the hot tubs, and the barbecue grill. The walk in pools were perfect for our 10 month old grandson to sit and play in the water. Everyone enjoyed the spiral sliding board! The fitness center has a wide variety of equipment and a great view of the ocean and beach. Undercover parking was also very nice.

This condo is conveniently located near restaurants, entertainment, and shopping but is in a quiet setting at the same time. Our entire family enjoyed our stay in #2202 and we are talking about returning to this unit for another family vacation.
