We really enjoyed our stay with 9 family members. Would be nice to have a real dish towel and dish rag and maybe a better supply of toilet paper. Nothing to do with the property but not happy that The Hangout Restaurant charges a flat !0.00 fee if you use a debit or credit card. Who carries cash anymore and Im sure they aren't hurting for money! And most places/restaurants charge a 3.5% fee for using cards. Just wrong in my opinion!

Everything looked just like the picture. There is not one bad thing that i can say about our stay.

Our family of 8 spent Christmas through New Year’s in this beautiful roomy home. Even though it was chilly outside we still managed beach time and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. There was lots of pool time for the youngest and the hot tubs were wonderful. Everything we needed was right there with a major grocery shopping we stayed in playing games and watching football. We would definitely like to do this again. Our big outing was to OWA water/amusement park that was amazing for the. We had 5 adults, a 15 year old, a 12, and a 6 year old. Lovely furnished home.

We enjoyed our time at this condominium. It was very clean and easy to get to. Right down the road from the Hang Out and many other place on the strip. The view was great we could see down the strip and the beach.

Celebrating 45th wedding anniversary with kids and "grands"...we worried for months about cleanliness, elevators, beach. Everything was absolutely top notch. Very clean, fast elevators...never much waiting and the beach was awesome. The condo actually was almost perfect. The only (very minor) thing would have been nice to have hooks in the bathrooms or one of those retractable clotheslines for wet swim suits and towels. Otherwise...everyone was so happy. It was a great celebration trip!!

What a beautiful condo with great amenities. Indoor pool and outdoor pool with the giant slide, right next to the beach. We had a crew of 6 adults and 4 children and had plenty of room. The balcony view was incredible during an evening thunderstorm.

The condo was very clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working order. The view from the corner unit is amazing.

THE RENTAL ITSELF WAS VERY GOOD ,CLEAN,AND GREAT LOCATION ,BUT THE FURNISHINGS,AS FAR AS SITTING FURNITURE ARE AT DATED AND WAS NOT VERY COMFORTABLE , NEEDS CUSHIONED TABLE CHAIRS AND ALSO CUSHIONED BALCONY FURNITURE, AS WE ARE 60 PLUS OF AGE AND BEAR WOODEN CHAIRS AND LOUNGES ARE TOO HARD FOR US TO BE CONFOMFORTABLE SITTING.

We loved our stay here at Phoenix Rentals. We would stay again. The view was amazing and we cooked in most nights so there was plenty of space for the 8 of us to eat in the kitchen and lots of cookware, even a stock pot to do a seafood boil. We could've used more towels, however, and the cleaners did an okay job getting ready for us, maybe pay a little more attention (the floors were dirty and the kitchen could use a little more attention). We stayed on the 15th floor and it was super quiet. We would return.

11/10 would recommend staying here! The condo was absolutely STUNNING! The views and all of the amenities exceeded all expectations. We want to make this a yearly visit! The host is quick to reply and very very nice. Can’t wait for our next trip!

Condo was immaculate and an exceptional location. An absolutely beautiful view. Great balcony and plenty of room. The entire staff was extremely helpful and friendly, we were all totally impressed. I will definitely travel here again.

We had a wonderful time visiting Gulf Shores, and the condo was perfect. We have a family of 12, there is 8 adults and 4 children; and this condo was perfect. We had plenty of space for everyone and the views for the pier firework show was great!!
There was only one thing that I would say could be improved, and that was the cooking utensils/supplies. With a big family you cook large meals, there was not a pan/dish to bake lasagna/enchiladas in, and we used the grill downstairs (by pool) and there is no spatula suitable to use on the grill.
But those were minor inconveniences, and overall our experience was great!!! We will be back!!

I had no problems with this rental... until I arrived. I have stayed at the Phoenix a few times; when this East Corner 4BR was available we thought we would try it out. Few suggestions for the owners/rental company: when you pay what your charging I think you can at least supply a day of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher soap, coffee filters that can be used on the coffee machine you provided, etc... you have a 4:30pm check-in and you have to unpack with 12 people and then run to the grocery store because you cannot make it till morning is not how vacation should start. House cleaning was just horrible, sand everywhere, no broom, dirty windows, not clean bathrooms, and an unfortunate incident when moving a bed over you find fecal matter smeared on the wall and on the back of the bed... is a mood killer and just disgusting! But wait you go to the grocery store and spend $750+ to come back to a nice note on the icebox door from the owners that named their icebox? "...it takes a while for the ice box to recover, it has to catch up... but it will"; 6 hours later we are putting food in coolers because food was in the danger zone for way too long. The next morning 15 hrs. later it was cool, but do not open too long or you will lose the chill? Buy a new fridge... in the span of a week over $1500 in groceries for a family of twelve and we kept meat and perishables in a cooler. Let us go to the pool...train wreck with no security, people from the beach using the slide and pool. We had to complain... to get someone to kick fifteen teenagers out. What is the point of the wristband if anybody can walk-in... ultimate chaos? OVERALL: beds were comfortable, bathrooms were sufficient, kitchen needs work in cleanliness, living room & kitchen table/chairs need a good cleaning. The outdoor grill area was clean and worked perfectly for outdoor BBQ, fantastic location... get the cleanliness, icebox and security under control and I would recommend to a friend.

BVery nice property. Met all our needs. Exceeded our expectations. Beach was very convenient and not crowded easy walking beach. Did a dolphin tour we saw lots of dolphins also the boys went to alligator tour the kids had a blast. We had a couple issues (minor) that were addressed right away. The outdoor pool ended up being closed during our stay stay but even the little kids didn’t miss it. Only one bedroom didn’t have a view of the beach but the others were great views. If your looking for a great family vacation we highly recommend it property the higher levels facing east.

This condo is awesome! The sunrise and sunset views are incredible. The kids spent virtually every day in the pool. The water was warm and it has a zero entry for the little ones. The condo is spacious, well appointed, and very livable. It’s walking distance to great restaurants and entertainment. We loved every minute and will definitely be back! A big thank you to the owners for sharing their beach home!

We had a wonderful time here and absolutely loved the condo. It's spacious and has stellar views from the living areas and several of the bedrooms. Access to the gorgeous beach could not have been more convenient, and we enjoyed the pools, hot tubs, and tennis court. We hope to stay here again in the future; it was a super way for us to reconnect with our far-flung kids and grandkids.
That said, we did feel that the unit was not as clean as it should have been. We understand that beach properties are particularly hard to keep clean, but clumps of accumulated dust on ceiling fan chains and behind drapes were clearly not beach sand. The sofas and dining chair cushions could use a good cleaning too. And as others have noted, guests should plan on providing their own toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen towels, etc., as only the barest minimum is provided.

This condo is beautiful, it has gorgeous views day and night. We loved the patio.
If the owners do not give it some attention it will totally lose its desirability.

The condo was not clean, our feet were black from walking barefoot upon entry.
The kitchen cabinet doors and counter tops were dirty with dried food and grease.
The bathroom cabinets doors were dirty with greasy unknown and dried toilet paper pieces from unstopping the toilet? The living room furniture is nice, but filthy. The living room rug is filthy. The return air doors, ceiling fans and laundry room were filthy with built up dust. I had to clean the return air doors immediately because the grand has asthma. Frustrating to be charged a cleaning fee and then spend your arrival cleaning! The cleaning staff even left used dirty soap bars outside the front door entry for our arrival.

After cleaning we enjoyed our stay. The building halls, lobby, pool and gym were all sparkling clean. Great beach access and the pool is nice. It got cold during our stay and we tried the indoor pool, it wasn’t heated as advertised, but we enjoyed the hot tub!

I checked wouldn’t recommend to a friend because of the cleaning and maintenance problems, which is too bad for such a beautiful condo!

I’ll just say the United was PERFECT from the moment we walked thru the door!!! Beautiful location, beautiful views, the condo was beautiful too!!! Our family of ten (6 adults and 4 kids) had plenty of room, had everything we needed, and were very comfortable the entire stay!! We would DEFINITELY stay here again!!! Thank you Mr. Roberts for sharing your home!!!!

Loved the location. The condo was very nice could have been clean a bit more thoroughly had a few problems with the unit however the management company was quick to respond - calls within 30 minutes and repairs within the day

Property was as advertised. Corner unit was great. Overall rating give it a 4/5. Wet bar ice maker compressor was out... never got repaired while we were there. Bulb over stove burned out, didn’t work the whole time. After hours arrival so checked in next day. Check in was great. Beachfront unit with great view!! Our first trip to Gulf Shores! Good trip.

The 4BR East Corner Phoenix rental was really nice. There was plenty of room for all of us and the place was clean and had the amenities promised. We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was helpful and polite. The beach was awesome! The only issue we had was that the trash room was right outside our entrance. The smell was a bit awful in the hall, but no worries inside. It was great!

Condo was large and spacious. Location is perfect both to beach and to local attractions. Beach was nice and clean, chairs/umbrellas available for rental. View from condo is amazing, furniture is nice, rooms are large. Kitchen is adequately supplied and the ice maker is nice for filling coolers and having enough for multiple people all day. Indoor heated pool was great for rainy day. Owner was responsive to inquiries prior to arrival. Plenty of extra pillows in bedrooms. Only compliant was the condo was not the cleanest. All our socks/slippers were black with dirt by the end of each day after walking around the place.

Excellent accommodations. We had 4 adults and two children and there was plenty of space. Condo was clean with everything you needed to get your vacation started. Excellent views from the patio. Kids enjoyed indoor pool and getting to the beach was an easy walk directly behind the building. Kitchen well apportioned and the stand alone ice maker was a great extra. Had both a regular coffee pot and a Kurieg. We were there early March 2021.

We had so much fun at 1504! We had both sets of grandparents and my family with 5 kids (total 11). There was plenty of room for everyone to be together or have their own space. The balcony was a great place to sit and watch the waves. Even having our week land between 2 hurricanes we were able to enjoy the pool every day. The inside pool tends to be very cold as it is not heated in the summer. The outside pool was great. Just realize there are rules for using the slide and security will enforce those. We didn't spend much time on the beach due to the storms and jellyfish. The kids had a great time hunting for shells between storms though! We had a great time at this condo!

Stunning views, immaculate kept property, friendly check in service. Beach was beautiful, guests respectful of social distancing. Pool kept clean. We were able to snorkel as a family right off the property. We found a sunken ship keel near the hotel. Easy commute for seafood and for boating on the bay.

Loved the unit! We loved all the windows. The kitchen was equipped well. I cooked most nights. I really liked how the Phoenix staff was always cleaning in the pool area. Very clean. There are a few suggestions I would give you about the unit. The couches could use updating. Also, the trash bags were the cheapest ever and so were the paper towels provided. Another question, is why was there not a hair dryer or trash can in the master bedroom?

Seven members of my family flew to Gulf shores for a fall vacation. The unit was fantastic. It was clean and in a great location--close to many places of interest.

This is our second year to stay at Phoenix Gulf shores. First time for #1504. It's beautiful with nice comfy furnishings. Upon arriving, the floors were pretty gritty, but hey, it's on the beach. Also, the coffee pot had half a pot of cold coffee in it. Not sure how long it had been in there. But the main thing was the air conditioner. The two bedrooms on the east side were hot and the two on the west side were freezing. Don't know why that was. But, we all had a great time and will be back. Just not #1504.

Manager's Response

We arrived at the condo a couple hours before check-in time. We knew that there was a chance we may have to wait until 4 pm to get in the room but luckily the room had just been cleaned from the previous guests and the owners allowed us to get in early with a temp code. The property was mostly clean the only dirty part was under the beds and couches. I realize it would be hard to clean those areas everytime but maybe once a month they should clean under there. The pool was awesome! The kids loved the slide and it was only 4-5 foot deep so it was easy for the kids to play in the entire pool not just one section. This Condo was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The only thing missing for us was a restaurant on the property. Thats not a necessity but it would sure be nice.

Wonderful facility, great communication. Cannot express what a beautiful condo this is. Great location, beach access right there and amenities are bountiful.

This property is gorgeous in every way--the furnishings, the view, the location, cleanliness. Even the public areas were spotless. Management was quick to repair one small item. Only real issue was parking. We have family in the area who wanted to visit. Finding off-property parking is a nightmare...especially for an overnight guest!
