view was awesome, cond was good and spacious, lift was very quick. only 1 bathroom tub was not having good drainage. Rest all was very good.

This condo was awesome. There was plenty enough for all 12 of us with out feeling crowded the view was perfect. My only complaint was the sofa bed could use a new mattress. I could feel the frame thru it. Other than that I will be staying again next year.

The place is great. It’s a big condo and very nicely decorated.

Pros
Balcony is huge and awesome. Rooms are big and comfy!!! Location is perfect. Beaches are clean and well kept in front of condo. Seriously a great place!!!!!!! Staff is amazing and replaced a dishwasher for us in one day. Food is good onsight as well!!!!

Cons (more like tips)
To clear up the elevator issues. It’s a big condo and the elevators wait times can get long during peak check in times. Late afternoon on Sunday can be rough but we never waited more the 10 mins. As for the kitchen, bring all food! They don’t supply any cooking oil, salt pepper or sugar. No big deal but be prepared. Bring beach towels and detergent to keep up with your towel usage.


Overall amazing.

Had a great time. Condo was perfect for six adults.

i like everything but,,, all the elevators wasnt working properly, the carpart in the living room area needed to cleaned,and none of the bedrooms had crash can in them,, the master bathroom had a very bad odor,, the masterbedroom needs a chair in it.

The condo was pretty nice. Had a few issues with a running toilet and the dryer, but those were fixed very quickly once we reported them. The only real problem we had was with the elevators. Out of 6 of them I only saw 4 working at any given time and sometimes only 2 :/ Came mid September, so not too many people, but there were tons of issues - people waiting 30+ minutes, several times the elevators would stop on every floor for no apparent reason. We got to the bottom floor once and the door wouldn't open; then proceeded to go all the way up to the top floor and stop on EVERY SINGLE FLOOR on the way back down. We were on the 17th floor so taking the stairs was hard (but we had to several times just to get to the beach or our car. I can only imagine how bad it is during peak summer. Will probably never stay here again due to this issue alone.

We have been coming down to Southern Alabama for 8 years and the last 7 have been spent in Phoenix West II condos, a different one each year, and we have never had a bad one. You have to keep in mind they are rental properties so they see some wear and tear. But if you find a good agent to deal with it helps with your own needs and desires. We have a wonderful agent Julia, she is the best we have worked with. We are booked again for next year and looking forward to it as slways

Great location with beautiful view. The unit was a great fit for our group with plenty of room for our little ones to play. Loved the ice machine. Air conditioner was erratic some of the week. Elevators were very busy due to a full building.Loved our trip.

We enjoyed our stay at PW 2 condo 1708. The condo was clean and well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. We stay in Orange Beach almost every fall and the Phoenix West buildings are our favorite. The reservation process is always easy. We had one maintenance issue on arrival that was addressed quickly. Julia was quick to respond to our needs.

Property was exactly as described . Very spacious, comfortable beds. Well appointed kitchen. The view, balcony and furniture were fabulous. Check-in day was miserable as it was difficult to find a luggage cart and even more difficult to catch an elevator. Overall, very satisfied with our stay.

The convo itself was great with plenty of space and everything you need. The building is nicely located only a short drive from anything you would want to do. The elevators were the worst part of the stay. On the 17th floor, it’s not really an option to haul all your stuff up the stairs so we got the full elevator experience. Crowded week in the summer, expect to lost a good portion of your stay waiting for an elevator that isn’t already crammed with people. Also, I’d you’re already crammed in an elevator, expect to get stopped on many floors towards your destination where even more people cram in with you.

It was great except for cell signal which sucked.

The unit was in a great location with an excellent view. The beds were comfortable and the unit was large enough to comfortably accommodate my family of 10. Our only complaint was the cleanliness. The unit could have been a little cleaner there were dishes in The cabinet with food stuck on them and some of the pots have been very abused. The management did respond very quickly and provided us with some new frying pans. We still recommend updating the cookware and wiping the inside of the cabinets. We also felt as if a 4:30 check in time was a little late, that is the latest time we have ever had when renting a property.

Simply fantastic!

We loved the condo itself but the complex is very big and crowded. We have stayed at others with much more room in the pool and beach areas. Also the elevators are often at capacity so we had to use the stairs multiple times, quite a task with beach and pool supplies. Last, our unit was not the cleanest with more than typical sand, leftovers from prior guests and other dirt throughout.

Every day new memories were made. We had a fantastic time!

Stayed at Phoenix West previously and found Phoenix West II to be equally enjoyable in every way. I highly recommend the property.

They were very understanding and refunded our money for the days we were unable to stay. My only complaint would be that they should inform renters in the rental agreement that if the power goes off you will have no water. Had we known that we could have been a little better prepared. The condo is fully equipped and very comfortable but it was not as clean as it should have been.

The unit was nice enough but the pool was smaller than pools we’ve had a properties 1/3 the size of this behemoth. Overcrowded - as was the lazy river.

Rental was good! Only issue was there was sand in the sheets and on on the floor as soon as we walked in. AS in we weren't at the beach beforehand and sand was in the sheets and stuck to our feet. Other than that the condo was great!

Around the pool would get gross throughout the day. AS in multiple times there was food, wrappers, and garbage left from disrespectful people. Also the beach was often littered with beer cans and trash.

Elevators on nights and weekends are a nightmare. Also crane wouldnt work so we lost money without getting to play

This was the 3rd time my family has stayed at the Phoenix West II property and the 1st time in this unit. My family loves the location and amenities this property offers but was a little disappointed with this unit. The furniture in the living room, dining room and on the deck were nice but the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable and in need of replacement. Also, the shower in the master bathroom was not clean. In addition, the tv/cable box in one of the guest rooms did not work properly but perhaps that was user error. The kitchen was fairly well stocked with utensils, glassware, etc...and even included a crock pot which was a bonus. I would highly recommend the Phoenix West II property but would only recommend this particular unit after it had been refreshed.

We've been to Orange Beach before and love the area- highly recommend the Shrimp Basket, Ruby slipper or the gulf island grill [gulf shores] for eats! The wharf is fun for shopping, and adventure island is fun for the family with the arcade & mini golf
