Phoenix VI 902

It was an amazing place. The condo was clean and just the right size for us.

We were looking for a nice place to stay in Orange Beach; this property did not fit the bill. The bed was very uncomfortable, pillows very thin from use, crumbs on floor upon arrival, broken glasses in cabinet, no blinds on beach windows, shutter in bedroom do not block light, skimpy supply of toiletries upon arrival, couch uncomfortable and old, shower curtain had fallen, toilet backed up 3 times during stay, old shower head and faucet. We would not rent again.

Only have 2 recommendations. Better shower head & hypoallergenic/non scented laundry detergent on linens.

Overall this was a nice complex and unit. The views were great and siting on the balcony was enjoyable. The unit was overall pretty clean and comfortable. The bathroom faucets need to be replaced. The shower faucet was gross. Some of the kitchen cabinets were worn. There was no dish soap provided. It was nice to have the laundry in the unit.

Clean and well decorated. Will need all pantry items, beach towels, laundry soap and softener if you do more than 1 load. Dish soap, extra toilet paper. So basically not stocked well, but being clean and comfortable is more important to me.

Absolutely great!! Jil was the biggest help with the passcode. and I have a special child so once I called about the Wi-Fi, she immediately gave me the password and had a very happy child!

The Phoenix building overall was great. It is the second time we have stayed there. Also the second time we have stayed in the same unit. However, two years ago the unit was in better shape. It definitely needs some attention by the owners. Also whoever is cleaning this unit is not doing a very good job. Upon coming into the unit we took our shoes off to unpack. After walking across the floor a few times our feet were black. The flatware and utensils could use some updating. The shower rod has rust on it. Just overall needs attention. But the floors were terrrible. And due to that we will look for another unit next year.

We loved staying here, even with the pool being closed for renovations. The bed is very comfortable and the full sized washer and dryer were great. The refrigerator and freezer held so much food and the ice maker worked great. The dining room chairs were kind of wobbly. The pots and pans probably need to be replaced, as they seemed to be a mixture of lots of odds and ends pieces. The place was very quiet. We have it booked again for Feb. 2024. thanks for letting us stay!!

Very good stay. Everyone I dealt with was very courteous and knowledgeable about any questions I asked them.

My husband were disappointed in the room. The bedding was not clean. The floors were very sandy and the entire condo needed painting.

Nice size condo for 2, great gulf views, and in an ideal location. FYI; PARKING (1 car) IS VERY BAD, limited dishes, and could use luggage rack and newer working clocks.

The unit was NOT clean, Coffee pot had not been washed out in who knows how long, furniture was so filthy we put the extra sheets on it to sit, faucet in bathroom barely ran, and then sprayed everywhere, shower fixtures are antiquated. Pans in kitchen were hideous, who would dare to cook food in them? For the price we just paid for a week we had much higher expectations. Very disappointed.

Unit was very nice once we got it cleaned to our standards.. Crayon on the windows from a previous toddler.. mold on shower curtain and ceiling..slow shower drain with hair from previous renter.

The condo was just fine. The only negative was we had to rewash dishes before using them. I can live with that. It was really good and I will stay again.

We traveled and were able to get into early only by some sort of accident. There was no one to greet us and show us around. No one works for VRBO. an other agency was at the desk to take your money to park in the lot. they were very helpful with some effort. The $35 parking ticket was a surprise. We had to figure out stuff for ourselves. the of course we were locked out while we leaving. We were happy with the unit. It is hard to avoid mentioning things were wrong. The can opener did not work, the door for the closet fell off, the shower curtain was too long, and the drain was plugged, the bed was too big for the bed room, there were too few glasses. It would have been nice to have another light in the bed room. The location was good, everything worked. The arrangement with golf course was nice. we would like to come back next year.

The location and view was great The bathroom sink and tub was extremely slow to drain. We had to boil water to help open the drain pipes on several occasions. The bathroom ceiling had mold and also mold at the bottom of the shower curtain. There was trash & Lint under the bed The location was great but I would not recommend this condo unit to anyone. The rest of the condos might be good

The trip with my wife for some alone time was as perfect a trip as I ever had in OBA. Having vacationed here close to ten times recently, experience has taught me to avoid peak summer travel and go as the weather starts to make its turn toward fall. No clouds in the sky throughout the trip with the high temperature reaching no more than 80 degrees with morning lows in the low to mid-60s. Not a drop of rain to be noted throughout my stay.

As for home amenities, our stay was quite pleasant. The bed was roomy and comfortable allowing for restful nights after taxing days on the beach (sarc). We ate in every night and found the kitchen accomodations to have everything needed without having to make the short drive to Publix or Walmart. Also helped that the building had less foot traffic than in peak times. I found sitting on the balcony and drinking a glass of wine quite relaxing without the usual hooting and hollering from the pool area or nearby units.

Phoenix Properties are fairly consistent across the board with this one being no exception. Amenities are basic and above basic in select cases. I usually bring contingencies if needed. Thankfully, I got to shelve those items until another trip.

The only issue I had during the stay was A/C related. This was only a minor inconvenience for us. The information was relayed and responded to immediately by property management/owner. That in no way detracted from the stay.

The attentiveness of the property owner is a large factor in me recommending this unit to other prospective guests. Weather may not be a guarantee but a comfortable, relaxing stay is definitely in the cards with this vacation rental. I hope to make this a regular stay in upcoming years if I don't end up buying my own unit.

Overall the Condo meet our needs. Nice building, good location and the beach was great. The unit is somewhat tired. May be time for a little face lift.

We had a great vacation at Orange Beach. The condo is in a great location with beautiful gulf view and a great beach just outside. The condo was clean but could use fresh paint and the bathroom needs updated but overall it was a great stay. Just a note for visitors...please bring everything you need. The condo has adequate dishes, 2 towels, 2 washcloths, no extra toilet paper, paper towels or trash bags and no extra blankets or throws other than the comforter on the bed. If you plan to sit out on the balcony on a cool night, please bring something warm.

Rained the whole time but that's the chance you take on the coast. We still enjoyed our stay.
Condo was very good overall. Good location, view and facilities. Condo could a little attention. One of the balcony doors had a broken lock, the bedroom closet doors were off the track and standing in the closet and there were grease stains on the ceiling above the microwave vent.
The rental people were nice and overall the is pretty nice and I would stay there again.

Perfect size condo for my husband and I to have a get away. Clean and easy to get to. 2nd time for us staying in this building.

Loved the location and the views, condo was very comfortable. Only issues we had was black mold on the ceiling in most rooms and very limited cookware. Also when we were loading up to leave we were locked out of the room at 9:00. The front desk had to let us back in to get the rest of our stuff

Just 3 weeks after Hurricane Sally, the rental company was very helpful. The employees were dealing with their own issues and yet, they assisted me, with pleasant attitudes, in finding a place to stay after my first reservation was cancelled due to damage from Sally. While I was there, I noticed the kitchen faucet was leaking, it was replaced the next day, with no inconvenience to me. It was wonderful!!! The condo is right on the beach, a great location to watch the dolphins swim by in the morning. The main cleaning issue I found were the floors. The condo had sand through out and the kitchen chairs and table had crumbs all over, possibly from the prior guest. But it was easy enough for me to clean up. Overall, I would stay here again and hopefully not have my trip cut short because of a mandatory evacuation for visitors on the island due to another possible Hurricane (Delta). Here's hoping for another time.

We had to re-book our trip due to COVID and Charlotte helped us find this rental, she was great to work with. The condo was clean and as described. We enjoyed eating at Cobalt and going on a Dolphin cruise just right down the road.

Charlotte was so great to work with and the place was absolutely gorgeous and spacious for our toddler to run around! The front desk girls were precious the min we walked in we felt like we had known them all our lives! We enjoyed every min of it!

Loved our stay here. Had fun and hope to come back soon.

PLEASANT

I booked this condo on a last minute trip to Orange Beach. My 10 year old niece and I found the condo to be perfect for us. It was a stress free vacation and very easy to book, check in, and check out. The kitchen was well stocked and the full size washer and dryer was a bonus. We cooked in the condo and ate out once, but there are many great restaurants and shops less than 5 minutes away. We did enjoy some ice cream from Sweet Cone Alabama just across the street. The management sent me an email the 2nd day there asking how our stay was. I found that to be very kind and personal. I appreciated it. I love Orange Beach and the Phoenix VI. I stayed in a different condo 2 years ago and new it would be another great week. The beach is very clean and not packed. The pool was clean and we enjoyed both the beach and pool. We did experience our first high winds storm on our last night, but we're from Illinois, it didn't scare us. This is a condo that I would book again and recommend to others.

We were glad we stayed in Orange beach. Location, food and weather was great. Our accommodations were sufficient. The bed was much harder than we are use to so one of us slept on the couch, which wasn't much better. The sheets kept coming off at the corners. It's like the bed was a king with queen sheets. Towel rack in the bathroom was not very secure to the wall and the shower needs an update. We did not have to cook, so many great places to eat, but I was turned off by the stove and pots and pans. With so many places to stay, I would not choose this unit again:-(

Accommodation was lovely. The bed was very comfortable. Being right on the beach was perfect and from the balcony the sunsets were beautiful, not up in time to see sunrises. Would definitely recommend and we plan to come back.

Recently stayed here in July 2018. Found the condo to be clean and fit our needs perfectly. Furniture was very comfortable including the bed. Was very close to Perdido pass so got to watch the boats going in and out. Was easy check in as well. Very well stocked with dishes. Could use a few more pans. This was our first time to orange beach. Definitely plan on coming back

Everything was great. A couple of minor issues, closet doors were not hung and were a hazard. Picture in front hall had a crack in it.

The condo was great. Very comfy bed and even better view. Al around good stay.

Great! Master bedroom doors were broken and a picture in the entry way, but otherwise it was beautiful!

My husband and I stayed 6 nights in this unit and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The main reasons we chose it were the cute paintings on the wall, lovely updated kitchen, and large TV. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed--the dishes complemented the kitchen perfectly. Loved the porch!! We had never been that high but enjoyed it, especially the sound of the waves. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. All the staff at Phoenix VI were lovely and helpful. Perfect!!

As always the condo was great!! It was clean and we really enjoyed the creative towels. We hated to mess them up!! This is our go to place and we feel right at home..

Phoenix 902 is wonderful. The unit is very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The views from the windows and balcony are truly amazing. One of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. Property management was smooth and no problems. A great find!

I recommend this condo for its view and layout. Perfect for a couple or small family.

Every thing was great except the cleanliness. There was urine on the toilet which makes me wonder how well was the rest of the condo cleaned.

Nice location, loved the beach view. Was clean and had no problem even though I arrived about an hour early. Would go back!

Parking for day guest (my daughter staying elsewhere) was a bit of a snafu but the old adage "a little kindness will go along way" solved the problem the front desk seemed incapable or desirous of solving!

We wanted a nice get away with our kids and that's exactly what we got! This was the first time my husband and kids have been to Orange Beach and I wanted them to have the best experience possible so they'd want to come back! We got in early and went non-stop. The condo was clean and extremely convenient! If you are staying a couple days be sure to grab a few extras, we are breakfast at the condo and made lunch to take to the beach, so we needed to buy more dish detergent, and of course laundry detergent (which I knew we would need to buy). If you drink coffee, bring filters, sugar, etc. We had never stayed in a condo before, so weren't quite sure what would, or would not be in it- we brought filters but forgot sugar.
It was 4 of us staying and our son is still young enough for a pack n play. So our daughter used the pull out. The pull out is as you'd expect- not exactly comfy but she's five and was tired, so she slept well lol.
The condo over all was perfect for all four of us! Right on the beach with the indoor and outdoor pool! Hot tubs were nice too! And a perfect location for all the restaurants along Perdido Beach Blvd.

We loved our stay at this wonderful condo.

Easy to rent, could have used more information. For example, we didn't know that towel service wasn't provided (we knew about beach towels), didn't know we needed to provide our own toilet paper, etc. but overall it was great to have a place with room to relax and enjoy the beach after driving a few thousand miles. The place was clean, somewhat dated (bathroom and bedroom), as well as living room couch but still very enjoyable.

Our room wasn't available because of water leak. The first room we were offers was musty and the outdoor furniture was stacked inside. The second room was wonderful! We had a wonderful stay.

There were a few issues initially, but all were resolved eventually. I have reserved this same unit for the same time frame next year.

We had a great time. Overall, the unit was nice, but it could use some paint. The closet door has never been painted and thereally are several walls that need to be painted. The unit was very clean except for the baseboards. They need some serious attention. We had a few electrical issues but the management company has already addressed.

As always we love 5the condo!! Feel at home!! There is just a few little things that need to be repaired. Light switch in bathroom has a short, could not get ceiling fan to work, safety latch was broken on door, and stopper does not work in bathroom. Nothing major. Just small tnings. Really enjoyed it!!!

We enjoyed our stay and the Phoenix VI is nice, but unit 902 was dirty when we arrived. There were also numerous items that were broken in the unit. The cleaning crew needs to do a much better job. They missed food on the floor, left dirty tissues behind, and the floors were filthy.

The condo was perfect. It had everything we needed & more.
We stayed for 4th of July & had a blast. The only trouble we had was finding a parking spot, but we expected it to be busy for the holiday.
Would certainly stay here again!

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Phoenix VI. Would go back in a heartbeat. Close to shopping, restaurants, etc. although we spent most of our time on beach, and did cooking in Condo. The kitchen was very well equipped.

My wife and I recently stayed in this condo. The pictures on the site show that it has been renovated. When we walked in we were pretty surprised to see that the bathroom had not been updated. We also quickly realized that we needed to get our own knives and cutting boards as there were some wood shavings in our dinner that evening.Someone prior to our stay had put the wooden cutting board in the dishwasher, so that along with serrated blades on the knives were not a good combination. There were a few other minor things that could be taken care of if the owner ever stopped by to see the condo, such as, the washer would quit halfway through a cycle of clothes and leave everything sopping wet. I would have to go and push the button to keep the cycle going. Overall we could get over most of the problems that we had as we were there just to relax on the beach and not stress about anything. Just needs some TLC from the owner.

We loved staying here. It was the perfect size for our family of 3. We had some issues with the air conditioning but management had someone up to repair it within the hour. You can be confident that your stay will be great!

I would recommend this to friends and relatives. Hope we can come back soon! Pools are great and customer service was wonderful. Elevator always available, I really like that! Convenient to Lulu's and Flora Bama!
