Phoenix VII 1413

We enjoyed our stay at Phoenix VII, Unit 1413. The appliances, A/C, and heat all worked well. Sheets, dishes and pots and pans were clean and adequate. The only issue we had was with the television. There are no TV operating instructions and we could not get it to tune in regular TV channels. We worked at it for quite awhile, but later decided we didn't come to Orange Beach to watch TV. When we arrived, the floor did not appear to be clean. The bottom of white socks and bedroom slippers quickly turned black. We would also have liked to have a double sink in the master bath.

Orange Beach is our favorite beach getaway location! We stay at either Phoenix 6 or 7 and are never disappointed.

Condo was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Location was awesome. Ease of rental thru vrbo was wonderful. On site staff superb. Only 2 things should be mentioned in listing...no ice maker (purchase from vending on beach level) and king bed is high/a tad hard to climb into for shorties or elderly.

Location was great. Beach was beautiful. But despite the pool being cleaned every morning by noon there was a white film of scum on the pool. Hot tubs as well. The pools are supposed to open at 7am but that’s when they clean the pool so they really don’t open until closer to 9am. The property lets every yahoo with a wireless speaker blast their music at the pool. It felt more like spring break than a nice clean quality family vacation spot. Also someone came banging on our door one day to change the air filters. No warning from the facility that this was occurring. Condo was fine. Basic amenities for the vacation. Disappointing experience overall.

The property was very clean and well maintained. You can’t beat the view from the balcony! We went to the beach often and the walkway was excellent as was the pool. There are many restaurants in the area so you don’t have to drive far to have a great meal. We would definitely stay here again!

So impressed with rental property. . A well stocked kitchen, beautiful views, super clean, very clear on payment and how to access the property. Was good to have the indoor pool/hot tub. My sister and I enjoyed spending our week here and look forward to making this a yearly trip.

The unit was very nice and clean. We had a very enjoyable time the only thing I can think of is more plastic bowls with lids that fit for keeping things in the fridge. Loved it

We stayed here on our family vacation. It was wonderful. Everything was updated and clean. The build area and pools were great. It also was located in a good area with everything close. Planning our next trip already got next year.

We've been coming to the OBA for almost 10 years, and have stayed at the PHX 6 or 7 every time. Despite a noise problem in the unit above us, this unit was among the top 4. We enjoy being high above the noise of the pool area, taking in the nearly constant breezes on the balcony, so the 14th floor was ideal. The aforementioned noise from the unoccupied 15th floor unit above us was due to a door swinging open and hitting the railing for several days. The front desk people couldn't/wouldn't do anything about it, but the property manager for our unit was able to get Maintenance to solve the problem within minutes of us reaching them. It was a fluke that was handled fairly quickly once I spoke to someone who could solve it.

The OBA area still has a small(ish)-town (but growing) feel, and everyone you encounter is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend renting a boat and trolling the bays for a day. Bring or rent bikes and spend hours in Gulf State Park. You'll be glad you did.

Would definitely recommend OBA and this unit.

The unit is located on a beautiful area. Great view from the deck.
Unit needs to be cleaned deeply. Couch needs to be replaced.
Towel’s are small and paper thin. The screens on the patio door were broken and rusted.

The rental unit was a good.place and great location. Stay was great. The unit did have a few flaws. The 2 screen doors for the balcony were broken, tv in master bedroom didn't work. Cookware was outdated. The view was fabulous. The beach was amazing. The unit was comfortable.

Well-appointed condo with a great view off the 14th floor-- coffee on the balcony was perfectly relaxing. We'd be happy to visit this place again.

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Phoenix VII 1413, but there is room for improvement. We paid peak season pricing, and weren’t allowed to check in until 4:30, wasting an entire day of our vacation essentially. We emailed three days prior to check-in to see if it would be possible to access/pool beach early while waiting on our room to be ready with no response. My husband also attempted to call many times with no answer. The room was clean and condo well furnished, but the dryer left black markings on all our clothing. I’ve emailed about that with no response as well. My mother and sister got stuck in the elevator on the 12th floor, and once finally out we’re told my front desk staff “oh that’s been messed up they’re waiting on a part for it”. Very unconcerned that the elevator was still
In use and that they had been stuck at all. Condo itself is great, but I feel like management could definitely be better.

The rental was exactly as described. The rental process was super simple. After a long drive it was a great place to spend the week.

Great , no issues other than one elevator was broken most of the trip.

The rental was easy to acquire and very accommodating facility. The room and view of the beach were great. Beds slept well and all amenities worked good. Our stay was very comfortable. The only issue was the elevators. We had one elevator down all week which made it hard to get from the 14th floor to the parking or beach. Sometimes the wait was 20 minutes just to catch an elevator. The day we left there were no carts to haul our luggage down to the car so I had to make several trips to get our luggage loaded. I do understand that they were a lot of other people leaving that day also but a lot of them were carrying their luggage down without a cart also.

We were here for a ball tournament and turned it into a week long vacation. Overall, the condo was nice and clean. Advertisement says recently updated with is definitely misleading. Living room rug definitely needs a good thorough cleaning- we felt the need to wear shoes at all times inside. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

We had a great time at this condo. It was very well kept and the location was perfect! The property manager was also very easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this condo.

Fun and relaxing

This condo was very comfortable, clean and a very convenient location for us as my brother lives quite close. We were lucky in that respect as I could get a lot of stuff to stock spices, and beach towels and extras which I didn’t notice on the information sheet were not supplied when we received instructions to access the place. But knowing now that is not a deterrent to renting again. Being on the 14th floor is definitely a plus for view and noise.

Just one thing needs fixing, the slider screen in living room was pretty much off track. We had some high winds and I was afraid it would fly away but didn’t. I am sure those get a lot of damage from the salt air, just wanted to let you know.

Pleasant stay. Nice clean condo. Only complaint is we were not allowed to put up a canopy in front of the rental chairs on the beach so i had to go buy three umbrellas. This seems kind of unfair to guests that already have their own beach equipment.

Absolutely love staying at the Phoenix 7. I have never had an issue with anything. The pool area is always clean and nice, the room has a nice view Of the ocean. . The only recommendation I would have is to make sanitizer available at the elevator locations on each floor and even inside the elevators if possible.

We really enjoyed the room and he location. Only issue was that the refrigerator would randomly make a loud humming noise. Otherwise, great vacation.

We only stayed for four nights in this unit but had a wonderful time!! I was aware that they only provided starter paper products and so we were prepared and brought our own. It would have been nice if they had provided a couple of trash bags, more pillows and blankets for sleeper sofa. My only con for the Phoenix VII is the elevators were always busy and they would not provide a guest pass for the parking lot, that was a little annoying but definitely nothing that ruined our trip. We would love to stay here again!!

Unit was GREAT! Loved the minimal decor! Clean, roomy, amazing!!!!!

Clean, well-appointed and comfortable. View of the Gulf was fantastic. Only downside is that the DVD player didn’t work. Got sound but no picture. Maybe it needs replacing or instructions on how to do set up and operate. Minor inconvenience. Great trip and the condo was well worth the expense.

We spent 5 amazing days in this condo in May of 2019. The condo was clean, maintained fairly well, and was a great location. Sliding doors were a bit rough with a few tears in the screens but nothing horrible. We did have to endure painting on scaffolding on the outside of the building the entire time. It was a bit unnerving to be woken up very early by voices right outside the bedroom window, as well as the smell of paint, and the noise of it banging against the building - but we realize that was not the fault of the condo owner. Weather was overcast, but still very warm. Beach was absolutely amazing both day and night. Being right no the beach is by far the best location in Orange Beach!

This was our first stay in Orange Beach and we absolutely loved the location and the condo. There was construction on adjacent balconies, they started working at 7am Saturday morning (really?). The only negative feedback I would give is cheap toilet paper and one roll per room is NOT enough. Not sure you realize, if you have 1ply paper, people use 3x as much and need more. There is a reason Charmin is the #1 bath tissue, use less and last longer. The condo itself was amazingly comfortable loved the view and will consider again. Low stars because of construction.

Nice and clean had everything we needed

Rental was nice overall. The indoor pool needs to be updated and cleaned. It was very cool during our stay so we used it quite a bit.
