Phoenix Gulf Shores 1501

We ended up having to change to a different property last min. I am so glad we did. This one was bigger, more bedrooms and bathrooms, better parking options. Step free pools were very helpful for my dad in a wheelchair. We fit the whole family and didn't even use two of the beds. Very open and so much space. Beds were comfy and lots of bathroom towels and supplies. Not a whole lot of kitchen supplies for cooking, plenty for serving and two coffee makers, a pot and keurig. The elevators would get you up and down fast! The gym was big and open. The staff was all very friendly, which is always a plus!

Great time with wife, children, in laws and grandchildren

The location was beautiful- parking was convenient- balcony is fantastic. Saw dolphins jumping out front. Spent many enjoyable hours out there. The pool areas and beach access was amazing well maintained. Condo decorated very nicely- we enjoyed Alligator Alley, a Dolphin Cruise- The Hangout- Tacky Jacks- the Track for Go Carts- the 50’s Diner- shopping- Parasailing-and threw in a wedding on the beach. The well stocked kitchen is a bit of a stretch- no spices- pans in tough shape. Oven drawer falling off- loose toilet- no iron or ironing board. Overall- everyone we encountered was friendly at the condo. Would highly recommend. A great time was had by all.

Phoenix Gulf Shores 1501 was an absolutely beautiful condo. The furnishings were very nice and the view and location were awesome. There were 2 issues, however that kept me from being able to rate it 5 stars. First, the owner needs to invest in some new mattresses. The king bedroom mattress as well as those in the queen rooms were very much in need of replacement. The second issue is that this was the most poorly stocked condo I have ever stayed in. There weren’t enough bath towels for the number of guests and there was only one kitchen towel in the place. The kitchen was also poorly stocked with necessities for those wanting to cook, compared to my other experiences. With these improvements, this would definitely have been a 5-star experience.

Condo was exceptionally clean with plenty of space and storage. Anxious to rent this condo again!

While we all had a great time there were issues with the condo. Tv's unplugged from the tv its self and electric plug. Had difficulty with fixing it due to the tv was hanging on the wall. Several dining room chairs were in need of repair. Their seats were detached from the frame. Wonky to sit on them. Alot of lamps (bulbs) wouldn't work. Pots and pans are in terrible condition. Everything sticks when cooking. No pizza pan or cookie sheets. And oven takes 30minutes to warm up. View is fabulous. Beds are comfortable but the sheet corners came off nightly. We enjoyed the pools, hot tubs and the beach. We focused on family time not the condo. If the maintenance problems get fixed it would be the perfect place for large groups.

The property met all our expectations! We rented a four bedroom condo for all our famy and truly enjoyed our experience!

Table was taller than chairs on deck, called in and received no response. Broken broom to sweep with. Electrical shorts in bathroom and front roof. Stove was slow to heat.

We will stay again. We loved the area, proximity to the beach, places to eat and the weather. We did have some experiences that were not acceptable but the problem was taken care of.

It was a very nice property and worked well for our size family. It was clean. Had issues with the sound on the tv, but was fixed promptly. They need more pans in the kitchen, I had to use a muffin tin to heat up taco shells, as no cookie sheet. If they could have given us better weather, that would have been helpful, LOL...

This is the first and last time we will stay in a Phoenix property. The condo itself was nice. From the moment we got there, everything felt tired. The tv sound didn’t work (pm came quickly and tried to resolve the issue which worked until you turned it off). Dryer was a fire hazard (timer didn’t work and that’s the only way you could get the appliance to work). MBR ceiling fan only worked on high. Dishwasher worked if you pushed start twice (figured it out). ...you get the idea.
Another annoyance was having to pay for parking (I obviously overlooked that). Who takes an Uber to the beach? Factor it into my bill if you’re really going to charge me.
Positives are the view was spectacular, and location was great for us. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and love the area.

We so enjoyed our time in your condo! The space was perfect for our family of 11. The grands had a ball in the indoor pool and even was able to play on the slide to the outdoor pool a couple of times. I would highly recommend this rental for large families. Michael was wonderful to work with! Our daughter accidentally left her Pampered Chef can opener and he graciously mailed it back to us. That is service!

We enjoyed our stay, too few towels for 11 people, and a couple of the kitchen chairs were broken.

This condo was perfect. It has the best view. Tons of space. There were 18 of us that stayed and we had plenty of room. Location was perfect. Very easy check in and check out procedure. Would definitely stay again.

the condo was filthy. the top outlets throughout the condo didn't work, the kitchen sink was loose, shower/tub was clogged, toothpaste on the mirrors, sand on the countertops, shower floor was black with dirt, stove nor microwave light worked, ice machine would produce ice because of the dirt/dust on the vent, sheets were not on the beds. Overall the experience was definitely not properly cleaned however the pools (inside and out) were nice and well kept. The beaches were beautiful. We have stayed at the phoenix facilities for several years and this is the 1st that has been dirty, because of COVID I would have thought extra care would have been taken to clean better and sanitize more than normal.

This condo has everything you need. It was very clean. The bedrooms and living area are very spacious, plenty of room. The balcony is perfect for relaxing and watching beach goers and dolphins. The location is great. It was nice to be able to walk right out to the beach.

The rental was very clean and as described. Very little supplies however. Kitchen supplies need to be restocked, very few pots and pans for such a large unit that can sleep 16 people. Also the ladders to the bunk beds need repairing or replacing. We had an issue with tripping a breaker and was not able to get assistance from the number on the fridge or the front desk. We called a friend who owns a condo at this property and was able to locate the breaker box.

We had a great trip! The condo was beautiful and very clean. We are already looking at possibly staying here again next year. The view was wonderful and it was so convenient that we were able to walk to a local restaurant for lunch each day.
The bar stools were not as stable as we would have liked. We tried to avoid those. I also would not have felt comfortable as an adult sleeping in the bunk beds. They were not all that sturdy. Overall, great trip with everything we could have hoped for.

Pros - This condo has a great layout and easily accommodated my husband and I, along with 10 teenagers. We never felt crowded, and rarely heard them while they were in their rooms. Th furnishing we also very nice. In fact, the couch and chairs still had tags on them! It also has a fantastic view of the Bay and the Gulf, and a great hot water heater. We never ran out of hot water, even with all of the kids. The ice maker is also fabulous, and was very helpful with the large group we had. The condo is also in a great location, and close to several restaurants, stores, and activities.
Cons - The condo was not very clean when we arrived, and we had to basically clean everything before we unpacked. Counters and stove top were dirty, there was food on the fridge handles, floors had not been cleaned.
The oven takes a very long time to come to temperature, and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t reach the temperature indicated. The only way we could get it to come up, was by putting it on broil first. The dryer also needs some work. It will dry your clothes after several hours, but it takes forever. It also doesn’t ever shut off. The first two nights we were there, it ran until we woke up and shut it off. Also be sure to bring extra towels and soap. There was 1 little bar of soap in each bathroom for hand washing and only enough towels for about 10 people. The bunk beds and bar stools also need some love. I think the screws are loose on the beds and the chairs. Kids were a little afraid to sleep in the top bunks. If we had some tools, we could have fixed it, but didn’t have what we needed.
Overall, we had a great stay and were very comfortable. Many happy memories were made. :)

Despite having 16 people, we were able to sleep them all, keep the condo cool, have hot water, have plenty of outdoor seating, and store our food.Easy access to parking, beach, and pool.
