Loved the 2nd floor location

Charlotte was very responsive to questions and any needs. Only cleanliness issue was black mold around the lower edge of glass in the master bedroom. We purchased some bleach and cleaners and removed it ourselves. Ohtherwise the unit was clean.

The property was everything like the pictures showed. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we might need. Indoor pool and hot tubs were used frequently by the grandkids. Loved the 9th floor tennis/pickleball court. Close to so many good restaurants, church, grocery stores and attractions. Not sure if it’s the floor tile or the general cleaning but felt it could use a deeper cleaning than maybe a mop could do. Staff at front desk and Charlotte were all so very friendly and helpful. Perfect place for family to gather and celebrate grandpa’s 80th birthday!!.

Overall the condo and property were nice. I'd book the condo again.

The separate ice maker in the unit is a great feature and the kitchen is well stocked with plates and cups, including plastic ones and items for small kids. There are plenty of pots and pans but not really non- stick anymore so make sure you bring cooking spray. There is a K-cup coffee machine and a traditional coffee pot, which is nice depending on your preference. (Although, I'm not sure why there are two microwaves. The second one takes up a bunch of counter space.)

We had an issue with the main light in the kitchen being out when we arrived. I called on Saturday "after hours", received a call back within an hour and it was fixed the next day. There was also a brief issue with the AC (not the fault of the condo or the rental company) and when I called before 8am when they opened, I had a call back by 8:15. Great service from the rental company!

However, I think the unit could use a really good deep clean. I was making my kids wear shoes inside, otherwise their feet were turning black from walking on the floors. My son also turned on the jets in the tub in the master bath and a bunch of black stuff came out. The unit looked clean on the surface so they are cleaning between guests but it needs a bit more.

Easy check in and out. The condo was very nice and roomy. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The only issue was the rugs needed to be cleaned. We all had dark on the bottom of our feet. Thought it was the tile but realized it was coming from the den rug. Otherwise great condo!

Upon arrival, we were able to check in early which was a huge bonus after driving with 5 children under the age of 5! Needless to say, they were ready to get to playing as were the adults! Our condo was the nicest we had ever been in. Loved having the garage on the same level as the condo, sure made for easy loading/unloading. The lazy river/slide was a huge hit with the kids as well as the adults! There were a few small things that could’ve used work but nothing too big to mention or fuss about during our stay! We loved this condo and will definitely be back in the future. Hopefully we can make this a family tradition from here on out!!!

Great location, beautiful property, nice condo. Only complains were the microwave did not work properly and the tile floors were filthy.

We had a great stay. The weather was perfect and the condo was very pleasing.

Our stay at this location was generally a good experience. Condo was a good size and fit our needs. Furnishings were a bit tired but worked fine. We did depend some on Wi-Fi,which was almost nonexistent. They advertise it but sorry it just wasn’t there. There was no cell signal until you go outside or to lobby. A major plus was the ice maker. It provided all 6 peoples needs. We were right above the floating river, but once you closed the door it was very quiet. Washer and dryer was also a plus. Location from the beach was also very nice. We did buy our own mop and cleaner. The kids feet were dirty. Not sure where the $300 cleaning service money went.

Easy access to the beach. I don't think we used the elevator even once! #204 is very nice & well supplied, however, the condo was very obviously only surfaced cleaned. We actually borrowed a Swiffer to clean ourselves. I did relay this to our contact & it was resolved afterwards. Could use some updating. Overall 3 1/2 stars.

December, time to go to the beach? Definitely!
This is a great unit and the beach access and local activities make any time of the year a great time to visit. Will definitely come back.

Only complaint I have - it wasnt cleaned enough.... need to do better cleaning

If you have kids, they will love the pool area. My grandkids did not want to leave the slide and lazy river. Truth be told, I loved the lazy river too. When we went to the beach, it was a very short walk on the boardwalk to the first row of rental chairs. The unit was great! Plenty of room and everything was exactly as pictured. Having a code for the door in advance definitely helped with our check in. Walmart was just down the street for a convenient grocery pick up. Each floor had plenty of carts available to help with transfer of luggage and groceries from the car to condo. Internet was pretty slow and cell service was spotty when inside the unit. I will definitely book here again.

Great Space. Lots of room and furniture for your sitting needs! The beds were comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking items. You will need to get extra paper products and soaps along with trash bags. I would suggest that PR start leaving extra trash bags.
The property is in a great location!

Go to the beach in December? Yes!!! For a family celebrating December birthdays this was a great get away. The condo was perfect and the time on a nearly private beach as well as in the heated pool were exactly what we needed. I would highly recommend the location and this unit. Hope to return in the near future.

our vacation was cut short due to a storm. being on the second floor is great if you have a little one. the condo is very spacious. carpet in the bedrooms needs to be replaced and tile floors need a good cleaning

This was our 10th year visiting Orange Beach and using Phoneix Rentals. Could not be happier! Cayce and crew are the best people to work with. Always attentive and accommodating. We had a great time and look forward to our next visit.

Great condo that was very clean and well decorated. We did, however, have to cut our trip short due to a line that burst on the top floor of the condo. We were suppose to stay through Saturday, but all guests were asked to check out on Thursday due to flooding. We had great weather and plenty of sun while we were there. The pool area was very nice for our grands.

Phoenix West #204 was awesome! Great location on a low floor, near elevators, clean, great amenities, spacious balcony, would definitely stay again!

This was the perfect condo for our 2 families, with 8 people. 2 bedrooms with king beds were perfect for the 2 couples; the 4 kids shared the 2 queen beds in the 3rd bedroom. There's also a pullout bed in the couch but we didn't use it. All of the beds were very comfortable. The living room furniture was also very comfy & the decor has a nice,subtle,beachy feeling. Nothing tacky!

We specifically chose this unit because it's on the 2nd floor. I read too many comments about long elevator lines, but there was no issue. We parked right by the door to enter the floor & it was very convenient, especially when unloading groceries.

The kitchen has a big clean fridge and all of the pots/pans & utensils we could need. There are blenders, a regular coffee maker AND a Keurig machine! (that was a nice surprise!) The ice maker was perfect for drinks & coolers. The kitchen does NOT have a pantry, so your dry groceries will just sit out on the counters. We kept it fairly organized, so that wasn't a problem. There are NO spices; not even salt/pepper, so please plan to bring your own or buy some. There are some tupperware items to store food in, but no ziploc bags or foil, etc

The washer/dryer was in the 4th bathroom & worked great!

The only negative thing we had was that the A/C control was locked by the owner/property management co. It was on the heater when we arrived and we couldn't change it without having them do it for us. We called the number provided to us in our welcome email & they were able to fix it remotely. Once they changed it to AC, we could move the temp up and down.

The pools were amazing & clean! The lazy river & slide were a great time for the kids, even though it was very cold! (went 2nd week of March). Kids didn't mind though. The indoor heated pool was nice & warm and the 2 hot tubs were HOT! Perfect!

I'll definitely look for this until again the next time we go back!

Location of unit was conveniently located. Very accommodating. We did have to call for repair on both ice makers, but promptly repaired. Unit does need to have electrical receptacles checked. The one to the right of the master bed needs repair. Overall, it was great!

PERFECT location! We were able to park on the 2nd floor on the same floor as our condo everyday... incredibly convenient. During busy times at the resort we avoided the elevators by simply walking down a flight of stairs. I felt bad for the people staying up high. Condo was clean and plenty of kitchen ware.

Phoenix West is fantastic. This unit is well appointed. The outdoor furniture should be mandated as standard. Solid and sturdy. Place is clean and towels and such are new enough. Second floor is awesome as no waiting for elevators to the main floor, and walk straight to your vehicle.

The wireless internet is terrible... like un-usuable. Not sure if it's this unit's fault as i think there just isn't any bandwidth to the facility? I'd stay there again for sure!

We had a wonderful stay in unit 204 overlooking the lazy river. The getting to park on your floor was an added bonus along with carts accessible on your floor to load and unload. The grandkids loved the slide and the lazy river and the zero entry pool. Staying on the lower floor was a BIG PLUS when rain came and the elevator line was long....we could just walk the ramp up to our room.

We had 4 adults and 4 young children stay at this unit over Memorial Day and all in all would recommend it. It was great to be close to the stairs so we could walk down vs taking the elevator. The unit itself was clean and had everything we needed. I would say my expectations around cleanliness might be higher than average, but I feel the unit could’ve been a tad cleaner. Some of the comforters has bleach spots or stains (nothing terrible), and the linens could use an overhaul. I wouldn’t think this is on the Owner’s, but the cleaning company has an opportunity to utilize newer towels and ensure each room has a shower mat etc. The ice machine and large washer/dryer saved us, that is a nice bonus! Amenities were great for our young children although the indoor pool could use better ventilation and lighting.

We had an awesome time at the beach. The phoenix amenities always pleases! However there were a couple of let downs with the condo. 1. The sheets on the beds seemed very old and very scratchy. 2. There were no sheets for the pull out sofa. 3. There were only 2 very thin extra blankets for a 3 bed room condo with 5 beds (including the pull out sofa.) 4. The curtains in the master were not black out curtains (very thin). 5. There were only 10 towels for 10 people (very thin and small) constantly washing towels. 6. Only 8 wash clothes (we to Walmart and bought wash clothes. 7. The TVs in the back bedrooms did not work. 8. Not one sharp knife, there were several but none sharpened. Could not even cut a watermelon. (again went to walmart and bought knife)

The condo was very spacious, we loved that however, the pictures on line are deceiving.
