THE HANGOUT OYSTER COOKOFF & CRAFT BEER WEEKEND

The Hangout Oyster Cook Off and Craft Beer Weekend is held annually during the first weekend in November.  It's a weekend inspired by food and drink with a side of live music and coastal fresh air.  Come see your favorite cooking show on TV come to life on the Big Green Egg Celebrity Chef cooking stage.  Enjoy local restaraunt tastings as they compete in the raw, rockefeller and cajun oyster cooking competition.  Interact with and learn from James Beard Award-Winning chefs at the hands-on cooking stage.  Sample beers from over 30 Southeastern breweries as you listen to live music from the sound stage.

If beer and oysters aren't your thing, then not to worry.  Check out the cocktail demo area with professional bottle spinners and award-winning mixologists will demonstrate all of their bells and whistles of cocktail making.  There is also a champagne lounge and bloody mary competition as well as multiple food tents with the best of the south food dishes including BBQ, vegetarian and desserts all prepared by participating restaraunts and chefs.
