Phoenix X 209

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The view of the beach and ocean were amazing. We prefer not to be in the middle of everything and enjoyed being able to travel easily into Gulf Shores and Foley to enjoy The Track, The Hangout and the outlet mall. We were also close enough that we made a day at Pensacola beach and were able to see the Blue Angels do a “beach buzz” and some other kid activities there. The condo met our needs but a few things could be replaced.
Pros:
Location
Heated indoor pool
Close enough to more touristy things but far enough away to be quiet
Indoor basketball (loud) but kept the kids happy and free entertainment since the 3 of them love to play.

Cons:
Pans in the kitchen warped
Some of the utensils/bowls/cookware were put away dirty.
Microwave didn’t heat/cook well
TV remotes need replaced as they didn’t work well (LR TV)
Housekeeping needs to do a better job cleaning between stays. Found candy and trash under beds when we were packing up before left.
Some of the furniture in the balcony needs replaced, rust/corrosion on the legs made them wobble.

This condo met all our expectations: great view of the beach from our balcony; easy access to all amenities; convenient parking garage; plenty of seating around bar & dining table for a large group; nice kitchen & bathrooms.

Unit 209 was nice. The beds were comfortable and table offered plenty of seating for the group. The balcony was very spacious, and offered enough room to spread out for morning coffee. Some of the glassware was cracked & chipped, the washing machine needed to be sprayed with mildew cleaner (we cleaned it best we could without chemicals). We really enjoyed the unit, it was as described.

The property I booked was clean and very nice. The location was great, not too far from stores, etc. the layout was great and the unit was well stocked and clean. It was an easy check in process. We took advantage of the indoor pool as well as the outdoor pool. We spent a ton of time on the huge balcony. I will definitely consider booking with Phoenix Rentals again!

Approximately 26 of us traveled from all over the USA to Orange Beach for a week-long vacation/family reunion. We all stayed in Phoenix X. The accommodations were very comfortable and we felt at home. The only complaint I heard was that in the room with the 2 full-size beds, the mattresses were too soft/worn out. All of the appliances worked well and no other issues were noted. Everything was as described in the description of the condo. Check-in and check-out procedures were a breeze. we had no issues with accessing the condo through the keycode. We had no trouble with finding a place to park on our floor in the parking deck (4th of July week). We had an absolute blast and would love to come back again! Thank you for having us!!

There's a lot of good here. Location. Beautiful beach and right next to the Florabama! Unit size is awesome and plenty of furniture. Biggest balcony on the property. Nice master bath shower. 2nd floor is very nice. Easy to access pools and beach and can keep an eye on the kids. Check in went smoothly. Kitchen was stocked enough to cook what we wanted and you would need. Felt safe for me and kids everywhere on property.
Now the not as nice...refrigerator leaks water on floor (from ice maker perhaps?), coffee maker has a metal filter that doesn't fit machine so grounds leak all over including in the pot. No screen door on living room patio door. Knives all dull. Washing machine had issues. Got it to work "sometimes". Vacuumed barely worked (had to take apart and empty filter to get any suction) and no broom to clean up unit during stay and before check out. Found a large open safety pin in carpet by bed in master. Kitchen drawers and cupboards could use a whipping out. Most VRBO's we rented are owner based, not facility so wasn't used to some things like a sample sized dish soap, no dish scrubber, no kleenex, no extra garbage bags, etc. If you are used to renting direct from owner, something to keep in mind. I recognize all this feedback is first world problems, but wanted to be honest. It's a lovely area, you can't beat the sound of the ocean to fall asleep to and the view is amazing.

The room offered plenty of space and was close to everything we wanted to do for the weekend!

Phoenix Vacation Rentals as a company is SUPERB!! Could not ask for a better experience!! The only disappointment we had was all the condo construction going on around us and the noise truly kept us from relaxing as much as we had hoped.

Condo was very nice and really enjoyed the extended balcony. Could use a new couch but other than that everything was great.

We were able to check in a few hours early which was super nice since our car ride down from Green Bag Wisconsin went a lot faster than expected. Was clean. No complaints. Was a bummer the pool and access to the beach was blocked due to construction but that the outdoor pool was labeled in the description.

Condo needs updated furnishings. The couch was in horrible condition. The patch work done on the bathtub looks like a cat vomited in it. The shower valve is backwards. Cold is hot and hot is cold. There is paint on the light fixture glass in the bathroom, which is not a problem, but gives the impression that quality maintenance is not even a consideration.

Condo and location was absolutely amazing

Great location and was an extremely clean property. The beach area was well kept. I’d advise reaching out prior to booking to see if there’s any ongoing construction. Would book again and recommend.

We had a great visit while staying in Phoenix X unit 209. The condo was very clean and comfortable, but the guest bathroom could use some attention for some minor repairs. Love how close the unit was to the beach and the Flora-bama properties for food and drink. Our only suggestion would be to heat the outdoor pool. I cannot believe it would be cost prohibitive with the number of units.

We had a blast. It was great being next to the FloraBama. The condo had everything we needed huge balcony and great view!

My friends and I had a great time at this condo. It was very nice, comfortable and spacious. We will be back!

This condo is everything listed and more. The location is wonderful and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The owners have thought of everything that you would need. Phoenix X offers so many things to do for all ages. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

Great Place to stay and would recommend.

This condo is amazing and beautifully decorated. The balcony is huge and we enjoyed being able to sit out there as a family. It is close to the pool and was very convenient to get back and forth to the beach. Making a reservation was a breeze and the desk staff was incredibly helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this unit for a long weekend Girls Trip & it was the perfect place! Everything was clean & tidy. The location was great! The booking agent was fabulous & so helpful!! I highly recommend this unit!

We loved the condo! Working with Julia was a pleasure! She made sure everything was going well for us! Our only concern was we did have trouble with the internet being a little slow! We did have to do some work on our computer while we were there! Also, the big TV in the living room needs to be seen about! It would black out at times! It did not have as good of clarity as the bedrooms! I should have alerted Julia about these! I feel that she would have checked those for us! Other than those minor things everything else was great!

Room was spacious and clean. One damaged chair when we arrived, but unimportant. Parking is convenient and so is the FloraBama! View of pool and beach was spectacular. Very large deck.

Had a great time. Room and premises were awesome. Will be back next year!

Where to start? Excellent experience. I had a question about checking in just before arrival and my calls were responded to within minutes. The property is exactly what the description and pictures portray! The extended balcony was a super plus!Everything was clean which is very important.The master bedroom opens to the balcony. The room has darkening drapes so you have the option to sleep in late with the drapes closed or wake up to the beautiful early morning sunrise with the drapes open.The entire outside environment was kept clean and orderly by the very friendly staff [Brett Robinson].Ike's beach service catered to all! Ethan [with Ike's] was a very professional,friendly,and helpful person. We explored the infamous FloraBama which was mere steps from the entrance!I am a local and have stayed at various condos in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Phoenix X,room 209 was the best overall experience I have had in the last 22 years.I will be back next year!

The only complaints I have is that there were dishes in the dishwasher, unsure if they were clean or not, AND wet towels in the washer. That made me feel like the condo was not thoroughly cleaned prior to our arrival which was sort of upsetting.

the shower in the master bedroom is awesome! It is so powerful. The room was great and we loved the loungers on the deck. The kids didn't especially like being this far down the beach. The staff at this complex were out every day cleaning and checking equipment. Security was so friendly.

The condo was very clean, the layout was perfect and building was good. We had a minor issue with the hot water that the management was very quick to remedy. I would stay at this condo again and would definitly recommend it.

The rental was outstanding. We loved that it was on the 2nd floor. It was clean and neat. It was easy to find parking. We loved the indoor and outdoor pool. We have 3 young children and brought both my parents and my mother-in-law. It was enough room for all of us to be comfortable. The balcony was great. We plan to use this unit again in the future.
